  1. And they look f**king awful! You can't even stand them up, so where are you supposed to put it?
  2. When I used to train I used to do 1 length sprint then 3 legnths slow, then repeat until I couldn't walk. Apparantly this is known as Interval Training and tricks your body into burning more of it's fat stores. I was doing it because I was training for sprinting, so I've no idea how true that is. It doesn't really matter what you do at first to be honest, it'll take a lot of practice just to get your stroke technique sorted.
  3. I've found that the compound of the disc is pretty important, if the disc has a really coarse compound it tends to give heavier grinds. It's good if it's thin, but it's more important to have a sharp point on it. This is only what I've found, other people are bound to have found different discs work for different methods.
  4. Using a BB7 on a 203mm rotor means that the caliper is spaced further from the hub, so you've got more leverage on the mount. I do see your point though, if you're landing a gap or whatever and yank the brake on, with a mono trial it might slide a bit before it stops the wheel, when a BB7 with a huge rotor would stop it straight away and flex the frame.
  5. Having a powerful brake won't snap your frame, if the brake holds, it holds, it's your own weight that will do the damage.
  6. That looks sweet Ozzy, a set of discs and that'll be perfect. Did you get bored halfway through filing the front holes square?
  7. The colour of what? White rims look really good on these bikes. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....=100838&hl= That's what my old one looked like when I bought it.
  8. The prongs are rubbing the rim because your pads are worn out, it's not just the wheel that flexes either, the frame will when you put power through it.

  10. Morning Peasants. Surprise cockface!
  11. He's got to be getting 160-170 degrees of the sprocket, if that chains skips, your chain or sprockets are completely knackered. It's certainly getting there! Hope you get it finished soon mate, looks mint.
  12. I'm pretty sure that this one is an 07 or 08 Pure. http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=14

After the number of topics on here, you still ordered from him?
  14. I sometimes go through stages of insomnia, I find getting drunk usually works. I just find it so much easier to clear my mind and fall asleep when I'm drunk!
  15. I managed to save 60g by drilling 7mm holes in my front rim, and the gaps between the holes are like 5mm. He wants to loose a lot of weight fast, when your bike weighs 14kg, even loosing half a kilo won't make much difference.
  16. The front of your bike would feel so much heavier than with a front rim and tyre on, it's probably not worth doing if you ask me.
  17. Love those pics, whats that rear rotor you're running Adam? Looks Avidish.
  18. First I'd change the forks for some Echo Control or SL forks, that would loose you 550g. Then I'd get a lighter front wheel, I think mine is about 1700-1800g from memory, so that's another 600g. The next heaviest thing is probably the frame and rear wheel.
  19. Using a bb tool to take it off makes life so much easier, just stick the tool in, bolt it in, put the tool in the vice, pipe on the crank arm and it come off with no effort at all. I hate 4pin tools, they skip and snap and chew the freewheel up so much more easily.
  20. The video was mint, some amazing riding going down. But whats with all the lies whenever someone moves? Hows that happened?
  21. You can't buy single pawls or springs or whatever for Tensiles, and th rebuild kit is £18, and you can't buy new outer teeth race thingies, lockrings, or the bit that screws onto the crank arm.

    Xbmc...

This actually tells you how to softmod the Xbox and put XBMC on it. http://www.productwiki.com/microsoft-xbox/...30-minutes.html EDIT: Another thing about softmodding: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-sof...box...for-FREE/
  23. Try-All rims aren't light at all. A rear echo 20" rim is 530g, a rear Try-All hOle rim (the new super light ones) is 437g, so you only save 100g, and it's no-where near as strong and won't hold a grind all that well, so I'd say definately get an Echo.
  24. Tensiles are incredibly strong, just not that batch, loads of them have broken and they get changed for a new one free of charge. My tensile is over 2 years old, I've rebuilt it twice and it's hardly ever skipped. They feel so solid aswell, highly recomended.
