  1. Looks brilliant Chris, If I ever went stock it would be a lot like that!
  2. This is a push bike trials forum mate, you want trialscentral.com.
  3. Take the bearings out, the outer shell off, then the springs and pawls, clean it all and put it all back together. It's a fiddly job, but it saves you buying a new freewheel normally. If it's skipped a lot though, the edges may have been taken off the rachet, so it will never be the same again.
  4. Ever? Yeh, just look for the answer yourself next time mate, saves filling the forum with threads containing short random questions. You could also use the Small Random Questions thread if your still stuck.
  5. Yeh of course, they are filled with grease when you get them, I stripped mine because I was rebuilding my bike and cleaned all the grease out. It's rather loud now.
  6. For £150, you'll stuggle. If you had £250 you could get a decent looking T-Pro from Ebay, which is a pretty decent bike.
  7. Monty PR stem, my brother has one and it's brilliant! And only £15 if you get it wrong.
  8. My mate has had two Enos and two try-alls in the time I have had my Tensile, his latest one started skipping often after 2 days of having it. It stopped though when he cleaned all the grease out. My tensile is 18 months old, and cost £35, never skipped. Bargin.
  9. Whos a sponsered rider?
  10. Yeh not bad, Tensiles better though.
  11. It will be just under 8.7kg once I get the bashring on, with the plate it's around 8.8kg. Mr Fish and his Dad runs graffics.co.uk, he did them for me, I made them up in photoshop and he turned it into the right format for the printing machine and got them printed up for me. Pace XC forks which have been cut down by some carbon fibre company, I didn't get it done, Craig (trialsalot), got them done and gave them to me when I bought my 07 with a rear maggy from him. Exactly the same geo as with my Echo Lites fitted, 1030wb, +62mm bb. The Butler's ones are their own design, these are designed for XC but cut down, but only cost about £200-250 whereas theirs cost an awful lot more. Yeh, 8661g with the bash plate removed, so add on 26g for the bashring I have ready to go on, and it will come to just under 8.7kg. Indeed it is, and the cranks are brilliant things. Please don't criticise the cranks from now on, not being arsey at all, but I and Craig said all we have to say in this thread. LINKAGE. I only noticed when I posted these pictures that both tyres were on the wrong way round, so I turned them round this evening.
  12. If you signed a contract, then they have it in writing that you agreed to pay for nine months, there isn't a lot you can do but pay up quick to avoid any extra costs.
  13. Cheers guys! Everyone says that about the forks, they have been super so far! A little bit more flexy than my Echo Lites but lighter and springier. I do hooks, slaps and taps all the time and they have been great to me. I had them when we rode Buxton, but I was saving them for competitions, but I changed my mind and use them all the time now.
  14. Yeh, few bits have changed so I thought I'd get some pics up. FRAME: Echo Lite 08 Long. FORK: Shortened Pace XC Carbons. F WHEEL: Monty TI. R WHEEL: Monty TI. CRANKS: Monty TI. FREEWHEEL: Tensile F BRAKE: Hope Mono Trial Monty Edition 07. R BRAKE: Hope Mono Trial Monty Edition 07. BAR: Monty TI. STEM: Monty TI. PEDALS: Wellago Magnesium. TYRES: Creepy Crawler Rear, Try-All Front WEIGHT = 8661g FORK WEIGHT = 672g Sellotape Rim Tape saved 50g Cutting knobbles off the tyres saved 132g Drilling the front rim saved an amazing, astonishing 18g New grips saved 20g
  15. There have been many topics. Deng isn't saying anything until later in the summer.
  16. I would, but I never go on any more so there's no point me opening it up. :P

  17. Tarty will send you the stuff you've paid for though. Trials-UK took my mates money, and neglected to tell him that his parts wouldn't be in stock for about 2 months. He did ask on the phone if they were in stock, and they said yes.
  18. If it all goes wrong, post it to me and I'll do it for £10 and post it back.
  19. Well why does he keep posting pictures of it. Not to be nasty, but people are hardly going to say oh my god thats lush.
  20. Also, you can spend £500 on a second hand bike, ride it for a few months, decide trials isn't what you want to do and then sell it for £450. Or you could buy a T-Comp for £500, upgrade it to make the brakes work and put a nice bar/stem and forks on maybe, then sell it for £300. Or you could do what your planning on doing, spending £1200-1400 on a bike, which would then be worth £700 max as soon as you opened the box.
  21. Callum is just bitter from being religated to NMC after being a twat, and now harbours a lot of anger, and thus, can't tell a joke from a nasty comment. I never said that he was a shite rider, well done to him for trying!
  22. If the looks of the new frames are amything to go by, the new website should be shit hot.
  23. I think we need to get Danny on the rocks more often and teach him to find some grip.
