  1. Maybe I had a duff one. My mates did the same though, but granted he went a lot bigger than me at the time. His was also from a PR, but mine was from a TI, but I thought they were the same so it shouldn't make any difference.

Sack that, I'd rather run a 3/32 KMC Kool.
  3. Also, those champaigne rims are f**king useless, even I managed to put 5 dents in one, in one ride! I have also had 2 rear try-all rims and I now have the white TI ones, and I have never dented any of them.
  4. Please do! I need some new college shoes as well. Cheers Dave, I'll drop Adam an email some time.

That's not possible, i have a 1/8th KMC Kool and it weighs around 400g in the full legnth you get when you buy it. That means that the Monty chain must be under 100g.
  6. Looking good there lads! Two lite discs in the crew now.
  7. Just did 9 press ups tonight! I'll get 10 by Monday.
  8. Of course I took it personally, you said my name twice in a post which was entirely aimed at me. EDIT: I find it funny when people say that the weight of your bike makes no difference. I believe it to be bullshit, but I don't keep telling them, as I respect their opinion.

Bottom Bracket, I didn't Put that in, but I would have said the neon one.
  10. Havn't you got some spamming to be getting along with? I really do hate retards like you that think it's my main aim in life to loose weight from my bike. Well sorry, but your wrong, it just interests me greatly, and it's just part of what trials is all about for me. Sorry for talking about what trials is all about for me, ON A f**kING TRIALS FORUM!! I've been getting a lot of shit recently, with people thinking its their right to take the piss out of me and tell me I'm wrong, well you can all f**k off, I've heard it all now. I'm not going to change just because you think I'm wrong.
  11. Don't use it without the cups in the door frame, I tried it when it was lamped up solid and it slid before my feet left the floor.

It's now lighter than that, the latest batch of Koxx forks are 640g.
  13. http://biketrials.ru/board/download.php?id=47997 He has drilled a little hole in the seat tube. Is that a bit too far?

Dob frame + Fork. Try-All H hubs on Dob rims. Whats brakes does he want? Dual disc or disc/hs33? Monty TI cranks, he will be fine with them. TI Bar and stem, possibly a shorter stem? For the freewheel I'd get a Tensile, they are very cheap and work brilliantly, mine is over 1 year and 6 months old. Lightweight chain, as he is small enough not to snap it. Wellago MG-1 Magnesium pedals, they are pretty expensive but they do save a fair bit. (Echos, Onza hognesiums are all Wellago MG-1s). Your best bet is probably to ring up Adam at TartyBikes,as he has a lot of experience saving weight and will be able to tell you which direction to go in.
  16. I did just say my bike was 9kg, which is far from the lightest bike possible. And I'd like to know when I have disputed the weight for anyone elses bike, but I do think that 8.3kg is very low for the spec.
  17. I enjoy trying to loose weight from my bike, and it does matter, especially in comps and on natural. It interests me to see how far you can go with it, whilst still having a bike that rides really nicely. My bike doesn't have super light parts, I have a deng frame and mainly Monty parts, and my bike weighs just over 9kg. I enjoy talking about it and trying to think of new ways to loose weight, but I haven't drilled anything and I have a bashplate. Actually, I am going to ride all the YMSA comps this year, and as many motorbike ones as I can get to.
  18. They don't... Anyone who knows anything about engineering wouldn't say that, I've only ever heard it said that CNC is strongest in NMC, and rarely at that.
  19. PM'd me twice, once saying the "aup mayte buy stuff ill good yooz deal" thing, then again over my frame I had for sale, saying could I send it the next day and he'd send the cash at the same time. Errrm. No. I said I'll send once the cheque has arrived and cleared, he never replied.
  20. Adam are legend! Dan, we need to get you off these 1045+ bikes. Make an adapter like I did, works a treat. Your obviously not bothered about the extra weight though.
  21. Well said that Monkey. They are more of a comp frame. The disc ones are 1.64kg with the bashplate removed. (I weighed, could easily be wrong). A normal street frame like a python could easily be 1.9/2kg with the bash removed, all that weight has to come from somewhere.
  22. Is there any way I can sort out my situps? When i do them I roll really badly on my tail bone and it hurts a lot. Is there something else I could do instead?
