  1. Yeh it was just generally a f**king diabolical bike. Weighed nearly 16.5kg with the pegs on.
  2. I'll give it a bash. Do Bench Presses/Press-Ups do the same sort of thing? Because my bench press is really bad, my mate who is two years younger than me and 2 and a half stone lighter can do 50, while I can only do 40ish.
  3. Nope, 7 from my tippy toes. I'm nearly 11 and a half stone, and no stronger than my mate who is around 9. I'll do some now, see if I have improved. EDIT: Nope, still 7.
  4. Like go up, twist to the left, then the right, then go back down? I've started doing them, very painful.
  5. 50kg for 10 is still pretty good going, I can't even do 30kg.
  6. Now there in lies the problem, he didn't say whether it was the lever bleed bolt, or the slave one...
  7. You can also click your county under your name, and it will bring up a list of all the riders in berkshire. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....eld_9=Berkshire
  8. The dropouts were huge. like 8mm thick. It was on a Mongoose Villain. I still know f**k all about BMX's, but I assume it's the trials equivilant of a T-Vee.
  9. I'd get a pair of mole grips on it and try to get it off. If that doesn't work, file two flats on the edge and try again.
  10. I bent a 14mm axle on a BMX once, never did a grind on it, I just fell off!
  11. No. Mine won't crack, I don't kick 7 bells out of my bike.
  12. JT gets it! Is that a 180mm on an 08 mono trial per chance?
  13. Sounds like you killed it, Tarty are good enough to offer any discount at all. Was it the maggy version? A few of the 08s have gone on the chainstays, but I havn't heard of an 08 disc cracking yet.
  14. Same, insides? Interestingly, only happens with my Wellago magnesiums, never happened with my V8s, which have a more concave shape.
  15. Why have you added me as a friend? I have no idea who you are, and I've probably never met you.

  16. Life is made of doing jobs/chores/tasks. If you complete them all, you get play time. If you can't find the motivation to mend a puncture so you can ride your bike....
  17. I've got Mcafee. Will it run better if I ditch it and go for AVG? I can't shut down Mcafee and it runs pretty dire when playing games. 2.4ghz P4 512mb 133mhz Ram 128mb Geforce 4 GFX card. EDIT: Trying AVG now.
  18. No you don't. It replaces the crossover, which means two M6 barb fittings. If you want to make it harder to split the hose, then you could use two M8 shrouds and olives, in which case you would need 2 M8/M6 slaves.
  19. Callum, there's nothing wrong with Neco pads. I use them, Danny Kearns uses them, and a whole host of people that have had no trouble at all. Stop slating them on an open forum. If you'd contacted Kris I'm sure he would have told you how to sort it out, but seeing as you've just badmouthed his company despite most pairs being fine, I think he should duely tell you to FO.
  20. Yeh, but by running Rockman foams over Tarty Griffles, I saved 50g for £6. Apparantly i could also save that by drilling the sidewalls of my front rim. I don't have the time nor the inclination, because my bike rides loverly as it is. Time for bed, I have to go to work tommorrow while you sit in NMC pissing about on your own.
  21. Nah I jokes, I have already cut mine down and inch on either side, but thats because I ripped one , and the rip was an inch long, and I didn't want them to look lopsided. I've followed my mates advice, to stop the ripping again, wrap tape round the end. Looks a bit tatty but has worked brilliant so far!
  22. f**k it, I'll make do with skateshoes. £70 is a lot of money for a bit more grip, a bit less hassle, and a pair of shoes that are uncomfertable and fall to pieces.
  23. Nah, he says they are 690, which I think means they are cut down. My bet is he has cut the grips down to save weight. I would never do that, honest. That's well gay.

They are heavy frames, I weighed mine at 2.4kg I think, but that's only half a kilo heavy than most frames, if that. Basically, ignore this guy, you could get it under 9.5kg pretty easily I think if you wanted. EDIT: 11.8kg? LOL! Mine was 11.5kg, with T-Pro forks, (still have them, weighed them yesterday, 1.4kg), T-Pro wheels, T-Pro bar and stem, Muscleman cranks etc. Basically, try and imagine a heavier spec. Exactly, you can't.
