  1. Extended maybe? I spotted the front tyre, a Schwalbe Mow Joe I think, a nice way to shed 150g or so... Why is it 8.6kg though? I reckon it should be lighter than that. It's gor rim brakes, everything is drilled or filed, the rims have been put on a diet, the front tyre etc. It should be around 8.3/8.4 surely... EDIT: You got validated, reporting works.
  2. There already is a topic in the wiki, but the wiki is dead at the moment.
  3. You can lace a 36h hub to a 32h rim, but you will struggle to do it the other way around I think. Sell some stuff and buy a new rim. If you havn't got £40 to spend on a rim, how can you afford a king hub?

  5. The pins get stuck in the sole on my skate shoes, which is really annoying because I can't just hop and slide my foot into the right place.
  6. You can fit an external headset, but you need to get some adapters made up, but I'm sure it can be done. If theres nothing wrong with the headset you have, theres no point replacing it. The best upgrades for a T-Pro IMO are Bar/Stem and forks.
  7. Cheers, but I'd rather wear proper skate shoes. My mate had some Try-Alls, they fell to peices, so I was thinking along the lines of Ribo, North Wave etc.
  8. I have a problem, I need some new trials shoes. I have some Monty ones, but they are really uncomfertable. This is because I have really wide feet, and the sides of my feet hang off either side of each shoe, and they dig into my feet making my feet ache really badly. I need to know, are there any shoes that have a wider sole than the Monty ones on the market at the moment? If not I'll just keep riding in skate shoe type things.
  9. I thought it was Montesa that was the Repsol affiliated company? And the links broken.
  10. Mine have been excellent, I don't twat them a lot, but certainly every ride. Bearings are good, they look good. They are very light. I have used the pins that screw in from the other side before, and they were dire, every time I smashed the pedal on something one of them would strip the thread out of the pedal body, making it impossible to replace the pins. With the stud pins, they screw right down the to bottom, so when they get smashed up, you can replace them by simple undoing them with a pair of pliers.
  11. Whats the point in 4gb+? I thought 32bit could only address 3.5gb anyway... Pity 64bit XP is shite. (Well my mate tried it, I've never even read up about it.)
  12. Glue them back in with superglue, if it doesn't come out again, win. If it does fall out again, new pad time.
  13. Don't water bleed a Dengura, apparantly they can't hack it and the seals go in them.
  14. Certainly the nicest Zona ever! I was thinking about spraying mine up, hmmm, watch this space. (It won't be blue).
  15. Some nice mods there! I have some ideas... 8.6kg, not bad at all! But not as light as a lite can go. Excellent find anyway, someone validate this guy!
  16. Jesus christ, you have a lot of work to do. Well it's all there, but it will cost you a lot in steel.
  17. Just to keep the trend going, I get new server written on a blank page.
  18. Hurry up! I'm supposed to have gone out by now.
  19. If you use mole grips, you will mash the shell to pieces. Just buy the right tool or go to the shop!
  20. Yes several, but I also made a wiki of how to make it, but the wiki isn't working at the moment.
  21. Make an adapter for it, it's what I did, everyone said it wouldn't work and it was a bodge, I had it on for 6 months and only took it off to get the back wheel out.
  22. You ride snakes, dirty b*****d.... And a long one at that. Which is also fat.
  23. So simple and underated hubs them. I can't see how it's 8.3kg though, it's not an especially light spec. Ah well, it's certainly light enough!
