  1. It's not grim! That's a good day! Southern pansy, with you sunny sun and your non existant rain....
  2. Make that 2 mates. (I was thinking of Danny K).
  3. Me mate has them, he says they are as good as the original Zoo pads.
  4. Looks brilliant, Maybe it would be a good place for a comp one day? I'll be riding it one day anyway.

    Dob 26"

I rarely see a stock I would like to own, and that is definately one of them! I'd have it double disc with a nice set of Dob rims, but that's just me.
  6. Or, alternatively, Adam can do what the hell he likes! He obviously still has Simtra frames left, so he will want to clear them before starting a new offer! You actually dissapointed that he hasn't put up a new offer?! Just be grateful that he does them at all! I actually think that's really offensive, it's someone giving you something free, but you saying, yeh but it isn't good enough. Some people take the biscuit, but with that statment, you take the tin! EDIT: Aimed at Rusevelt.
  7. My best bet would be to strip the pedals down and rebuild them, you may find that the cracking is from a bearing that has shattered.
  8. Sorry mate, but that's bad advice. Maintenance should happen regardless of whether something is broken. My tensile wasn't skipping, but it was full of this black paste that was making a nice grating sound in my bearings. it's running much better now, just a bit of WD40 in there now.
  9. I'd clean the grease out and use some lube type stuff.
  10. Best bike I've ever ridden for me, the geo is spot on and it suits me really well. It's going to be around for a while. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=113754
  11. Yeh, I've already spent it though.
  12. Any chance of getting the Death Metal one? I'll DL when I get home Mikey.
  13. Bigman cracked it and sold it I think, and it's still going strong as far as I know. EDIT: The only ones I have heard of cracking are the stocks, the mods have been fine as far as I know.
  14. Bar ends? I ask you. Use the placcy ones that come free with most grips! I may do this when I get home, although I doubt it will differ much from my current spec.
  15. Did you use the proper clamps? To fit in the vice and hold it steady? You can make some out of wood, drill a hole the right size in a piece of wood, cut it in half and then sand down the surfaces a bit. Also, you only need 5mm poking out, tap it in, then move the hose up a bit more.
  16. You will need these things: FRAME: FORK: F WHEEL: R WHEEL: CRANKS: BB: CHAIN: FREEWHEEL: SPROCKET: F BRAKE: R BRAKE: BAR: STEM: HEADSET: GRIPS: PEDALS: TYRES: TUBES: TENSIONERS: Thats all I can think of at the moment, I may have one or two bits.
  17. You don't need to bother with boiling water, even using lube isn't necessary! You will need a couple of new olives.
  18. Anyone got any tips for concentrating on shoulders? I already do sitting press in front of me neck, lateral raises and raises in front. But is there anything else I should be doing?
  19. For fitting the barbed thingy, you can adapt and follow the instructions shown here: http://shop.cleanbikes.co.uk/monty-hose-splitter-121-p.asp The olive should just fit straight over the top, but they can't be reused. Are you using standard black maggy hosing? For braided you need different fittings normally.
  20. Must be, I pinched a couple of times on that rim.
  21. Is that the rim I sold you? You must be a reet basher, or have ground it a few times. Bike looks sweet, I've always fancied one of them one day.
  22. Oh that's a real shame Dave, are you looking for somewhere else in Wales?
  23. t-rex fatima has returned as t-rex boy! Think of something new to say, read this quote. He's not trying to sell, he is asking how much to sell it for, presumably putting it on Ebay or something.
  24. I used to try to do it on my jump bike, and I was enjoying it more than jumping, so I decided a trials bike was in order. Bought a second hand T-pro, cracked the frame in the first 6 weeks, had 2 months off to save up for a new frame, as I had spent every penny on my T-pro. Bought a Zona Zip frame, upgraded a load of the bits, bought my first Echo Lite frame (06 short), continued to upgrade, eventually with a rear disc and the adapter I made. I rode that for about 4 months, spotted another Echo Lite, (07 long), for sale that seemed a bargin for the spec, bought it, then changed the frame, tracked down the matching original Monty Hope from the set, got an 08 Lite Disc frame and a couple of other bits, and it has remained the same since january, apart from some new grips I just put on. I love them There is one part that I have kept for the whole time, my Tensile freewheel. I bought it soon after getting the T-Pro and I still have it, it has skipped about 3 times, and that was only those puffy, one pawl skips, not the full blown crank jumping round jobby. That's all in 1 year and 7 months.
