  1. I thought you might. EDIT: If you want strong, an Echo if they come in pink, or just spray it. If you want light, Dob rim sprayed pink. They don't hold grinds well though.
  2. To sum up the tread, just use oil, as there is no point in a water bleed.
  3. You meant it as a retorical question, implying that he was a retard.
  4. I've never even thought about it, feet go on pedals were it feels comfy.
  5. Please do it more, then your warn level will reach 100% and rid us of your spamming and flaming ways. You didn't have to call him a retard, he simply has his own opinion, it doesn't really matter if everyone else says differently. He might be wrong, but he's not a retard. Someone else mentioned the build was the most important bit? Spot on, if the spokes are not tensioned enough then the rim will collapse under hard riding.
  6. It's pretty obvious that he is going to do it anyway, or he would have replied. The promise of 12k a year is too great for his little mind. Do you really want to be living with your Mum when your in your late twenties and thirties?
  7. His profile says he rides Mod, so the Echo rim is 31g heavier than the try-All. EDIT: Fast editor!
  8. The 07 rear rim is widely considered the strongest, most grind holding rim available. A little heavy, but nothing to cry about, only 30g more than a try-all.
  9. Mod, stocks are ghey. In truth, a mate that used to ride a bit leant me his stock to mend and have a play on, I could tap and gap as well as I could on my Mod within half an hour, but it was shit for any rocks/techy stuff as it felt really big and clumsy.
  10. The pickup at my dad's works has really stiff leafsprings in the back, and it's useless really, because if your hammering it, there is no weight in the back so it slides everywhere, and it chatters across bumps when going round a corner, which isn't fun. It also spins up constantly. I'd get some sort of super adjustable rear shocks if I were you, so you can drive it empty and the suspension will still work, and then make them really hard for carrying big weights.
  11. Whats wrong with it? Looks like it's been looked after really well to me.
  12. On me brothers bike, it bites and holds better without the booster, but the frame flex is so bad that when you try and let the brake off quickly, it drags unless you fully extend your finger.
  13. No honestly, Kris, me and everyone else who has tested it for ourselves is wrong, we have failed, we all need to die a painful death.
  14. They are both nice, but the Python is better. The wheels are the proper size.
  15. ROFL! Dan isn't a twat, you are for that post you just made! The link is to a TF topic, if you got 20+ pages of shite, then sort your computer out.
  16. On a T-Lite frame, much needed. I got one for my Zona, it was pointless, I prefer having a little bit of sponge in there, on the zona it was like having metal pads. EDIT: Not just backings, like the whole pad.
  17. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Echo-Team-Mod-20-Tri...1QQcmdZViewItem Buy that and make JT happy.
  18. I would have done that, but I did have my doubts, and also I never got to try it out. I started to make some prototype bar ends a few years ago because I had some round pieces of rubber from an old set of Manitou elastoma forks I snapped, I was about to get the end bit machined when I realised that my bars were to thick, and the rubber didn't fit in, I spotted them on the side the other day and it got me thinking, so I checked and they fitted the monty bars really well, so I drilled a couple of pieces of wood to fit a bolt inside including the head, then stuck the rubber, a washer and a nut on the end, and they work fine now. I want them wider now though. They're 28.5 inches and the extenders are as stiff as hell, so I reckon I could go at least another inch either side.
  19. Second time I've seen you in it I think. :$ I'm guessing yours was the one with the dirt cheap t-pro on the roof then.
  20. You just quoted the pictures to answer why you insist on making these topics? Breaking a rule will not get you validated, use the bike pics thread! Looks noice though.
