  1. Almost no difference IMO. I have 1600mhz ram but I'm running it at 1333mhz for stability.

That's gonna be a thing now isn't it? A new TF trend? It's been a while.

Anyone remember the days when this kinda thing happened on TF all the time and we all wore the paint off our F5 keys? Oh, just me? OK... Chit-Chat 2K7 - I WOZ DER.

No Mike, the only joke round here is DAVE. Yeh. Feel the burn.
  10. Drinking wine for the first time in ages. Free with Christmas!
  11. Because it's easy to put a computer together, and saves a load of money, and you get a better build that suits your needs better. If you can't handle plugging some cables in then IMO running Windows is a waste of time for you, because that's where 90% of the issues I've encountered have stemmed from. You need to have an interest in the hardware to bother running a Linux/Windows PC at all in my opinion.
  12. Nope, I'm running mismatched RAM and have been for years. The type (DDR3, DDR2 etc) has to match, and they have to be capable of running at the same speed, voltage and timings. (1333mhz, 1.65V and 9-9-9-24). It just easier to buy the same brand/model but you don't have to. Everyone should build a computer instead of buying a pre-built one, or buy a Mac IMO.
  13. 6600K in a number crunching rig might struggle a bit... For £450 though you're not going to get anything faster! Hope it all works out well. Actually really surprised you got that spec for £450!
  14. VACKING CHITTY DABBLE POSTING PHONE!
  15. Well actually it's a long running joke kinda thing. Started out when I was shopping with my girlfriend and she thought I said "Why Hello" in a suggestive manner to the checkout girl, which apparently could have made her uncomfortable so naturally now I do it everywhere we go.
  16. It's a thing? "Why hello" is just what I say to all the ladies.

    PC Help

I've seen windows do this before, only reinstalling it fixed it.
  18. I'd never ask for a lift down to anywhere. North is the only direction I wish to travel in.
  19. FFW offers far better weight distribution, as it keeps more weight central to the bike. The die every 3 months because they have too many fecking EPs these days. I had a Tensile 60 click that lasted for 4 years and never skipped, because I serviced it every 6 months or so.
  20. I used to use 16:13, I found it to be perfect.
  21. Pricey is an understatement... They're massively overpriced and often badly designed. I don't know a single person who is happy about buying one. Rob, £300 budget isn't enough if you want a gaming PC IMO. What do you need it for?
  22. Nope, garbage. If you want a gaming PC you need to learn to build it yourself. If you want to buy something that just works, buy an Xbox.
