I am considering mounting the spare 22" I have in the wardrobe above the middle one actually. Maybe I should make an entire sphere of them?

You don't see the lines. It's the same as using 1 monitor only your peripheral vision is greatly improved. You can see baddies pop up whereas normally you'd never see them. I was very sceptical at first and only really got 3 monitors for coding and stuff, but once I tried it out for gaming as well I was totally sold. Whatever you get George, get them matching. Even similar size but different models can be hard to calibrate the picture on. They need to be as close as possible image wise so your eyes don't have to adjust to each one each time.

Nothing impressive... It's a Bitfenix Shinobi XL case with an AMD 965BE, 8GB ram, some old motherboard, an ATI 5830 and a 128gb Crucial M4 SSD. I've had rather big upgrade plans for a long time, which involve replacing everything apart from the case and SSD, but I've got better things to spend money on. It's not fast by todays standards at all but it's quick enough for most things. Starting to limit what I can do with it though. I'm considering building a big b*****d server though and running a load of my stuff on there, but I'm not sure yet.

Get 3. 3 monitors is at least 50 times better than dual monitors. (Especially for gaming). Oh and get 28" ones, because they're massive and awesome. Seems like a good time to post this here, again. Updated some stuff now though. Netbook is gone, (bought a laptop, then sold it, then got given another), and I'm now running Mint Linux on my desktop instead of shitty W7.

I'm sick of the rain. I've not rock climbed in months because it's not rained long enough for the rock to dry at the weekend once, but I was ill anyway so I was stuck in bed. Really though, meh. I just go climbing indoors a lot instead.

You're a bit strange... I reckon the best price/performance ratio for SSDs is around £100 now. I have a 128gb Crucial M4 but I'd be buying a 256gb Samsung 840 now. I'm considering buying another SSD so I can swap the boot drive between Mint Linux and Windows. I've tried dual booting in the past but it always falls over after a couple of months, then I have 2 OSs to reinstall.

I would never use a cheaper SSD because they vary wildly in quality. Much like with a PSU or a hard drive you're better off investing in decent kit. IMO the Samsung 840 is the best SSD on the market at the moment. I have Crucial M4s and they're OK, but not quite as good as the 840. I've played with one (belonging to Ogre from this here forum) and it was lovely piece of kit.

We used to have one, it was called "validation". Worked fantastically but was removed due to some bollocks or other. Not that it matters now seeing as Tomturd has scarpered, bring it back Danny!

I thought it was utterly brilliant that show. The best of the last few series perhaps.

I've fancied one for years, still can't afford one. I'm 24 this year, still being car-less is starting to drag...

Some can run torrent clients and weak web servers, but so could the first gen raspberry pi. My Minecraft server had 2gb of ram initially but kept running out with just me on it. I'd consider the Raspberry Pi and USB hard drives solution mentioned above. Bet that would work out pretty cheap. Tempted to look into it myself actually...

Doesn't matter. NAS stands for Network Assisted Storage, that's literally all they do, store things. If you want to process anything, like running a Minecraft server, you need a server with some grunt. Even a microserver might struggle IMO. These are £350 after cashback, add couple of 3tb hard drives (£80-100 at the moment) and you're set. It already comes with 8gb of RAM and a decent CPU so you won't need to consider upgrading for a very long time.

That is sooo not savage... Might be a spoiler, but to anyone else about to spend 40mins watching, she cheated on her husband and that's the worst question. I was expecting them to ask if she'd ever been a hooker or a drug dealer.

Trudat. I estimate that because I do bouldering, trad climbing, indoor climbing and winter climbing that it's cost me about twice as much as trials ever did. Winter climbing kit is the big one though. I managed to get everything for about £1250 - 1500 by being a savvy shopper, but I don't have "cold" weather kit. My kit is only good for UK winter (down to about -10C). Proper cold weather like the Alps in winter can be -40C, and you need all different kit again (boots alone for that temp are £600+). Getting into climbing is usually cheaper though. If you start with bouldering you can make do with a £60 pair of shoes and a £10 chalk bag.

Cheaper to start but gets more expensive than trials pretty rapidly, especially if you want to start winter climbing.

I did a lot over the years. Much prefer non-split fins with a closed heel, harder to walk in but I always thought they were more comfortable. I wore neoprene socks with them and they worked a treat. As for masks, no idea, I was just lucky and the first one I tried on fitted well and I never needed to replace it.

Oh aye, think about it, if serious car stuff was more popular than silly stuff, then Fifth Gear would get better ratings than Top Gear. I'd say at least half the people I know who are avid Top Gear fans have no interest at all in cars. I even know one lad who drives a 0.8l Suzuki Alto, purely because it was the cheapest car he could buy new and he wanted something with a long warranty so he didn't have to know anything about it or have anything to do with it beyond picking up the phone if it broke down...
 -
The ratings show that sillyness > proper tests. If you want proper tests there are plenty of tiny budget shows on Youtube now presented by real reviewers, rather than 3 grey haired school boys.
 -
Scamming b*****d. He f**ked me around on 3/4 deals before I bought a rotor from him and it never turned up.
 -
I found that pretty pleasant. The sillyness with the police chase started to drag a bit though toward the end I thought...

	Charlie Jennings. lul.

I would sell my mother into slavery to own that bike.

You know you can run a disk hub with a rum brake right?

14? Are you from the UK? It's 16 over here or a 125 at 17. I'd say it's worth waiting a year... Depends how big and heavy you are. At 16 I was 50% heavier than a lot of my mates (I was about 12 stone while they were all about 8), so while a 50cc scooter could move them around, they couldn't move me. A mate of mine had an Aprilia RX50 with a DEP race exhaust system and some fancy piston/head work and a different carb and so on, ran perfectly but still only mate about 9bhp, so wouldn't even pull past 35mph with me on it.
