  1. Is this just up the road from me Shrek?
  2. It's the simplest, least impressive plugin in the world. All it does is make the footer stay at the bottom of the screen when the page height is too low to keep it there. Originally it was just a mini pet project that I only used to learn how to use Git, but people seem to like it... https://github.com/SamuelTurner/Clingy-Footer

I've spoken to both of my sets of grandparents about this when my parents split up, and all 4 of them would disagree with you there. Everyone doubts their relationships at one time or another. If there are fundamental flaws then I'd tend to agree with you, but Matt's lady getting herself in a tizzy is as much down to her situation than anything else. From what I understand it's certainly not due to a clash of personalities or anything like that.

Technically they are more a redundancy measure, not backup. Feel bad for the guy though... I have multiple backups of anything important, plus dropbox. I've had Dropbox spaz out and delete a load of stuff before, it is not a diamond sword!
  5. I've had a TY175 and 2x TY250s, all ran at 50:1. I'd imagine a TY80 would be the same? Liam, if you put 100ml of oil in 5l of fuel, that's 50:1 not 25:1. It's all a bit academic anyway IMO. 50:1 works out as 2% oil and 98% petrol, which is then vaporised into a lot of air. The physical amount of oil is tiny. Running at 25:1 will make almost no difference aprt from to your wallet. Although you should check on trialscentral.com before doing anything as that is a motorbike trials forum.
  6. A jQuery plugin I wrote a while ago just got posted on a jQuery news site so I got a load of traffic and a few more followers, woop woop.
  7. You're missing some very important points. 1. Smoking is cool. 2. Smoking is nice (for some). 3. Smoking is relaxing. 4. Smoking can be sociable and a good ice breaker. I smoked when going out drinking and socialising was my main hobby, then I started climbing more and socialising less (growing up) so I quit.
  8. My girlfriend vapes but keeps talking about how she quit smoking. Nah pal... She doesn't like it though so it has made her cut down a lot.
  9. Your teacher needs to go back to primary school and learn how to write.

You have no gay friends do you lol? I have it on good authority that woman logic is nowhere near as bad as queen logic.
  11. I was once in a mate's mum's Prius on the M1, and we managed to get that down to 22mpg, which I was rather impressed by. Simply load up with climbing gear and keep it on the top speed limiter thingy for 20 miles...
  12. I'll take 20 of each please JD.

I'd be very surprised if dead/dying memory caused that, but didn't cause any other issues...<br /><br />What is the BSOD error?<br /><br />I'd try re-installing Windows personally. Sounds like a big job but if you do it every 6-12 months like I do then it becomes very easy.
  14. I thought about buying some once when I was in halls at Uni (so late 2010/early 2011), and decided it was too risky, as I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to sell them again. Doh.
  15. The flat is upstairs, and although we have a courtyard to park in they are very funny about us doing anything. It's rented through a company, not a person. No way is it staying outside Ed haha, I couldn't do it. The bike in question is my Dad's Bandit 12, he's owned it from new and it's mint and very low mileage, and I want to keep it mint. Anyway, the garages went, and I won't be able to buy the bike for at least 3 months, so I'm just going to keep an eye out for local garages in that time I reckon.
  16. That was the plan, but inside the lockup. Main issue is I live in a flat, and there's no way I can fit a ground anchor outside, the landlord wouldn't allow it. There's more chance of being allowed to fit one inside a lockup, and if it costs £10 a week to keep my bike dry and slightly more secure then it's worth it.
  17. I don't have a ground anchor though, and don't know of one near by, and I'm not laying up a decent bike for the winter outside, definitely need to have a garage/lockup to store it in. Hopefully the landlord will let me fit a ground anchor as well. On the downside, the garages round the corner have all been rented now, and there aren't any more advertised at the moment within about 2 miles, and I want a 5 min walk at most.
  18. I don't have a car licence, so I'd need that first... I have 3 years of no claims on a bike, so anything worth less than £2k that isn't a super sports bike will cost me under £300 to insure fully comp. It'll be well locked up haha, I'll be enquiring about fitting a ground anchor too, although in the real world if a scumbag decides they want it, nothing really is going to stop them.
  19. I've just wandered up there, it's a pretty quiet area and the garages are tucked away. I guess that could make them more of a target though... Very excited/scary stuff! Basically I now earn enough that I can run a decent motorbike, as I can insure most big fast bikes for £300 or less. I was looking at cars but anything mildly exciting is over £1500 and I'm not willing to drive a Micra.
  20. I want to store a motorbike in in, which will always be rideable and reliable etc. Rich, what rates? I essentially want a big box with a lock on it. Lack of electricity will be a bit annoying but not the end of the world. The garages in question are tucked away in a fairly decent area of Sheffield that is relatively quiet, although I guess they're still a target for scumbags. They're at the back of a load of houses rather than an industrial estate though so I guess less likely to be broken into? EDIT: Thanks for the link, I'll have a read.
  21. There are some garages up for rent just round the corner for £10 a week. That seems a bit cheap to me to be legit, but in more desirable areas of Sheffield the most I've seen for similar garages is about £17 so the price seems believable I reckon. How do I go about checking it out though? Contracts/legal stuff etc?
