  1. It might be ok, obviously the 160's tend to be deisgned/work better for mods, and a mono mini might not be the best as it isn't trials specific.
  2. I have a front bb7 and a rear mono trial. BB7's are great! Hope is just as good but is so much more pimp, lighter, and feels nicer.
  3. May just need a bit of bedding in time, ride around with the brake on for a while, then pour water over the rotor.
  4. "Chosen" hub? One of these things http://www.chosen-hubs.com/pro-detail.php?...d=48&id=253 That's pretty light, not sure what my front wheel is, shouldn't be too much more. Dob rim 318g, Neon hub 150g, and standard Mutiny spokes/nipples. Around 600g's full weight I'm thinking?
  5. I think Lisa should be evicted this week. I know she hasn't really done anything wrong, I just prefer the other people. If Steph goes I think I'll stop watching.
  6. They are pretty much exaclty the same as normal mono trials.
  7. I would pay so much money to see Alexandra slapped.
  8. Ok cheers for that, can't seem to find anywhere on the net which sells them (other than Tarty), so I can't compare the prices.
  9. Sylvia needs to be sent back to the ghetto. Can't believe I am watchin BB again this year. I think I just enjoy laughing at the really really annoying people on it. And looking at the fit ones.
  10. Someone made a thread a few months ago containing the lightest trials spec possible. Think the weight was 7.4kg's.
  11. Your LBS has exactly the same Rockman rotors for half the price of tarty? Or different rotors?
  12. Where? Only rotor I've found under 100g's is the Rockman, but that's like £30.
  13. My bike weighs 8.6kg's, which is pretty light. I have noticed a massive difference in how long I can ride for with out getting tired, and how much easier it becomes to do certain things. After riding for a while you will learn what things on your bike you can 'sacrifice'. For example, even if you are a heavy rider you will get away with a really light front wheel. I would stay away from drilling and filing though, it doesn't take off much weight but weakens things conderably. Get parts of your spec up on tarty and check the weight, look for the lightest (or lighter) replacement, then decide if you think you will 'get away' with using this part. So if you are a heavy rider I wouldn't recommend getting a rear Dob rim.
  14. The little Chinese woman and Sylvia (i think) are the most annoying people ever.
  15. Loadsa people cut the side tread off, it saves over 100g's and you loose no grip. Yeh I haven't actually removed the pins on purpose, they fell out over time, just wanted to say it.
  16. Apparently if you use left hand drive you can gap like Benito.
  17. Got to be better than a £10 VP one though.....
  18. Already planned what cranks and bb to get: Neon titanium bb, 220g's! Neon cranks 360g's! That is the lightest set up you can get I think, but like I said in the first post.... I have a car to pay for Can't save much weight on stems, spose I could get a lighter chain but after that I'm stuck (and out of cash).
  19. Haha, 07's are the best anyway, lightest mod trials frame ever I think? 1.15kg's! And I was one of the first to get one
  20. It has maggy mounts as well as disk mounts, that's why it has the booster. Well the tabs look pretty much the same as the 08 ones, apart from the angle, and the weird brace thing (which ruins the 08's imo)
  21. Can't you use Rasp's to give a similar affect to ginding your rim as well?
  22. It's shit. But I always end up watching it. The scouse blonde and that part-time model are fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
  23. Got loads of new stuff over the last few months, going to dual disk has taken a while and cracking my frame was a bit of a set back, but got that welded so all is good now. Weighs in at 8.6kg's. Quite happy with that, but would like to get it a bit lower. Got a car to pay for but after that I should be getting some new cranks and an isis bb (finally). Getting a rear disk is probably the best thing I've ever done, worked better then any magura set up ever as soon as I put it on. Only thing which is slightly annoying is not being able to position each pad like I can on my BB7. Seems to be running nicely now though.
