  1. Really? I thought there was only one type of Monty rim that they used for all the builds, and that is like 100g's heavier than Dob. Where can you get these Kamel rims from? Are they magnesium? Must be single walled (f+r) and really thin alluminum to be that light!
  2. Some of it is on T-uk, other stuff is only available from ZHI Chris who gets it directly from Neon.
  3. Bent forks? Bike looks nice though.
  4. A front monty rim is not lighter than a Dob. Neon cranks and Ti BB, Ti axels for mag pedals is what you want. Monty chain saves a lot of weight but I really wouldn't trust it, you might be thinking if it's good enough for the Monty team then I will be alright, but remember they are probably given a new one every comp/practice!
  5. Well done to all the Brits! Vince dropped double as many as Comas in the qualifying.
  6. I've had one of them white mod ones for about 3 weeks. Really nice and light, can't fault it yet.
  7. Wouldn't really call it the 'sex' but it looks alrite.
  8. Think I saw some as well, won't they be the wrong size though?
  9. So there not available in 20", thats shit.
  10. Pretty sure there aint that much weight difference between a rear maggy with bolts clamps and a booster, and rear 160 mono trial. Correct me if i'm wrong though....
  11. 8.25kg's? That is the lightest stock ever, and lighter than most mods.
  12. Oh yeh, I read it as pro series, just looked at the pics.
  13. Will get the pics later if you like. Rear tyre - take off the out side tread on the row of 5 treads. So every row of treads become 3. Front tyre - take off the diagonal treads (the bigger ones).
  14. My goal is to get it sub 8.5, then I will be super happy. BB and cranks desperately need changing anyway. BB cost a tenner, is a year old and creaks like mad.
  15. The weight of the frame is fantastic, and having both maggy and disk mounts is perfect. But I don't really like the look of the frame, just looks like a t-pro painted white with bad stickers. A bit boring and beginnery (if that's even a word?). Could of at least given it the cool headtube cut out.
  16. I completely agree, difficult to not like him and he never seems to do anything to annoy people, yet plays quite a large role in the house.
  17. I have added up every part singally many a time, and also weighed my self and the bike about 5 times and took the average I can save 500g's pretty easily by getting a Neon Ti bb and cranks, Rockman superlight rotors. Other than that I'm not sure on how to save weight (possibly Dob forks), don't want to start modding stuff, drilling makes hardly any difference. Can't be bothered with Ti bolts and alloy spokes/nipples and all that shit. So if I change the bb, cranks and rotors, it should weigh 8.1kg's. Oh and the chain is pretty heavy, but not sure if I want to risk getting a Monty one, saves 200g's though. Any other light chains people can think of?
  18. Thanks for comments so far. f**k off.
  19. I also you use sellotape for rim tape. You just put it round your rim in place of the normal thiker stuff. Saves about 40g all together but makes no difference to performance/punctures.
  20. Imagine - John Lennon. One of the best songs ever.
  21. Thought that was one of the new Pro Series frames when I first saw it haha.
  22. I thought front echo rims were double walled? And the widest you can get?
