Promax extreme in the main part of the website looks really good for increasing power without massive bulk. I recon this could be a really good product for trials as we all need power without excess bulk. Personally i do not eat enough protein which i think really holds me back, as your muscles end up using themselves to fuel themselves, hence i ache like a bi*ch for like 3 days after a ride (maybe im just old lol).

Anyone tried any yet? As they are still running that offer above it seems...

The bike show moved to a cow shed so they obviously thought that they could move to Birmingham and under the thin vale of the 10 year anniversary to make more money. Will be a good show probably, but will not have the same atmosphere and fun of a nass 3 or 4 years ago, oh well. (Y)

I had one made by a canadian company for a while, it just meant that all the force got transfered into the quick release and bent that instead. It was not a good experience i had with a very similar product and in the end quick releases are more expensive than the mech hanger you are trying to save. It was not worth it in my opinion. the Planet x superlights are 420mm and 400mm and about 2.5lbs, ive had some now for a year now without any problems.

Yeah it made sense that its easier to effectively peel them off their backing than pull them straight off . i might just weld my rim to the frame and be done with it lol ;)

My mate James' Red Rim Jams also ripped off the backing, but my blues are still fine fingers crossed. It might be because the red pads are much softer than the blues, which allows them to deform too much during braking and therefore helps them to be pulled off... So maybe the reds although offering good braking for a while are just too soft? The blues being harder would not deform as much and therefore not be as prone to the same problem? just a thought ;)

Axles can vary greatly in strength, i think standard make a heat treated one, give Custom Riders a ring they might be able to help...

Probably scary to do and not advisable; but you could cut off your existing straps and leave about an inch still attached to the helmet and sew the new material overlapped onto the remainder to create a strong seam. Therefore, keeping the secure fixing to the helmet and still have fully adjustable different coloured straps...

you could use the rear tyre of you trials bike as a wheelie trainer lol, as per the cad diagram inc.

they have changed the insides of the helmet? thats so annoying, protec were one of the only piss pots that didnt look stupidly big on your head. Is the padding larger now then? with larger shells?

wades cycles and custom riders do protec, to name two.
