  1. Yeah but this times its a much better blue! Looks soooooo f**king nice dan... how much did it cost to spray or do you know someone there? God you can tell the quality of the spray job, looks flawless mate - such a lovely beast
  2. Its a nice bike mate I was very tempted by one of those frame fork headset bb deals off ebay but never bothered with one. By the way your rotors round the wrong way
  3. James, you need to make sure that the spokes have been tightened up with the same amount of force on each spoke making sure some arnt as tight as others, as it will pull its to one side. Put your wheel in your frame and set your brakes up so they can be used as a marker, this will be your truing stand. Then go round the spokes and tighten the nipples evenly, and if its wobbily loosen the one next to it and tighten the one you need, this should bring it into line, have a play with it and see how it goes.
  4. Hey there mate, your spelling is fine as it is so all you need to do now is stick to the rest of the rules and make some helpful posts and mod will validate you pretty quickly have fun matey
  5. Just out of intrest can I ask why you want to do this? Wouldn't it be easier to buy the rim specified for the hub? Most rims now come in 32 or 36 hole. But I definitely know it can be done, and you miss holes out in places and you have to have longer spokes in some area, there was a topic on this a while ago, i'll try and dig for it.
  6. I mite not even be a sticker, as the bikes intended to be light, It looks like a drilling and the cross thing is placed on the steerer. (similar to the 06 monty ti frames) And this bike is a prime example that coloured deng bling is not needed to make a bike look nice. Coloured items are sooooo 2006 haha
  7. Ohhh I miss riding with the braintree lot, was fun when I used to come out, and chelmsford - what a great place to ride and some good photos taken by charlie there.
  8. Mate, if you want to get validated you need to give more information about the question your asking, it saves everyone else wondering what in the world you want to know. It gets to the point and saves hassle. So, do you mean having a avid bb7 or bb5 on the front compared to a magura disk? like a julie, louise etc or do you mean having a avid sd7 or ultamate etc on the back comared to a hs33? give us more detail mate
  9. Haha barkes You seriously must be rich or get your parents to buy your bikes as you seem to ALWAYS have mint and nice bikes.
  10. Oh my lord! where did you get those racelines from! They look the nuts on new school bikes, Im going to hunt for some on ebay Im loving both of you bikes but I much prefer the mod.
  11. Yeah as danny said 16:14 is one to go for, but you could try 16:13, the norm used to be with 22 tooth middleburn front cogs and 18tooth rear so 16:14 is 1.1428571428571428571428571 and 16:13 is 1.230769230769230769230769 which is a bit nearer to 22:18 which is 1.222222222222222222222222222
  12. I can't gap stocks as good as I can gap mods. But I think it was to do with the difference in gear ratios. So in my opinion, Mod!
  13. Some great riding going on there by the looks of it Get that video on trialstube....Pronto!
  14. Yer it looks beasttt. The fluro green always goes well with the polished silver frames.
  15. Sorry, I dont like that much, I think its because it doesnt have a grind and so is completely green on the back end. I think the forks would be fine if you got a silver rim then I'd like it a lot. Well also loose the old school tyre too as it makes it look old compared to the newness of the rest of the bike.
  16. Thats why online shops such as trials uk and tartybike post to your door, so you shouldnt have to go anywhere mate
  17. looks amazing and im jealous of your RB lever Why did you say 'ooops ive got a deng'? Are you ashamed of it then?
  18. Maggies fo' sho. I had a mint rear hs33 - 04 with a RB lever blade, water bled, koxx browns on a fresh grind and was soooo good, even matt bird who was at the time devoted to dual disks liked how it performed. It was actually the best brake ive ever run and ive tryed vee and prefer hs33 by far.
  19. Whoops lol Rules are there for a reason lad.
  20. I think he was pointing out the fact it says 'Yellow compound has the best braking performance and lowest heat resistance' Which the amount of heat we dont really pay attention to, yet the bloke selling them clearly does. And guys, come on give the lad a break.
  21. f**k putting caustic soda in your bath! I would never have a bath again if I did that, plus my mum would kill me! What you need is Mr Muscle oven cleaner which is a mild caustic soda and you can just brush it on. You just have to do it a few times as its less powerful.
  22. Errrm ok. but its a bit ironic how your spamming it now again.
  23. Its good These ones are much better than the one that I used to have - the other side would spin when you tryed to do the bolts up but theyve fixed that.
  24. If its any help, i'll pm Bristol for you if you want me to. Just saves hassel.
