  1. When using a maggie I always used Magura Oil. Has always worked well for me, it's not that expensive, and a small bottle lasts for ages!

I've never seen that before. That's some amazing riding, really like how he flows into lines, bit on the tree looked a real sketchy line. Gap from roof to wall was big! Saved to favourites!
  3. Might be this one that you've heard about http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=121087 Would be good to have a magazine dedicated to bike trials. There is a bi-monthly mag dedicated to Moto trials (Trial mag) which has taken off in this country, so i'm sure a bike trial one would also work.
  4. Really like the first shot of Bessel in the group of 'Hooking' photos.
  5. Mind you don't end up with somthing that looks like this!!! LOL.
  6. Fair point! I don't tend to worry to much about it. I grew up riding old school triple clamp fork Monty's which were fairly lumpy compared to modern decent spec mods.
  7. Winning answer I think! Just built my new rear wheel up with disc setup, bike looks so much nice without a ground rim. I tried running a smooth rim with my last maggie brake, tried various different pads but non of them seemed that brilliant, if you want a really good brake, get the angle grinder out! IMO.
  8. Big brother has got to be the sh***st thing on telly, mind you, most of what's on telly is s**t. Much sooner be out on the bike! or watching bike related DVD!

    Dvd's

I've got 'Trial Lessons'. As 'psycholist' said, the voice overs are a bit annoying, however the riding is awesome and the techniques are expained very clearly. Quite regularly watch it, has certainly helped with some areas of my riding. Go for it!
  10. Thats a great find, amazing how far the sport has come sinse then. Love the slow mo' bit of going up the car bonnet. Good to see a few guys there that went on to be world class moto trials riders. Jordi Tarres, Amaos Bilbao and Thierry Girard.
  11. Hey, I would definatly subscribe! Email sent!
  12. Had a Try-All on my Adamant A2, worked really well, never skipped once.
  13. Not very often I ride on my own, but did for a few hours the other day. Stuck the Ipod classic on, found it quite good, bit of Linkin Park, Staind, & Foo Fighters did the trick, was a really chilled ride. Wouldn't listen to it when riding with mates though.
  14. I'd go for the Echo 08, works perfectly, looks great and is cheaper than the Try-all H.

    Rim Or Disc?

I'd be worried about catching a disc that size on rocks when riding natty. Probably ok if you ride a lot of street though I guess.

    Rim Or Disc?

Always think that grinding rims ruins the look of a bike aswell!

    Rim Or Disc?

Thats a huge disc to be running on the rear of a mod! The old 26" dual disc Megamo's were a bit like that. Massive disc! I've opted for a 160 for the back of mine, shud stop my 11 stone ok going by what Adam has just posted.

    Rim Or Disc?

Have been disc front and maggie back for years. Just ordered for my new duel disc frame from Tarty now though. Can't wait. No more annoying rear brake noise!!!

Right, about 4 months ago I made the swap from Stock to Mod, its taken some time to get used to it but I am now really enjoying riding the smaller bike. My current bike is an 07 Long Echo Team which I really like. I now want to run a dual disc setup and quite fancy an 08 Echo Lite dd frame. What I would like to know is the advantages/disadvantages of a long/short frame? My 12 yr old brother has got a short Echo Lite which feels really small when I ride it, I am about 5'8 in height. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Joe
  20. Really like the look of that. I am just in the process of deciding what dual disc frame to go for, might be swayed by the pics i think. Great job!
  21. That is very very impressive. Makes it look stupidly easy.
  22. That looks really smart, especially the tyres. Very fresh looking bike, quite different to most other recent new build bikes.
  23. Cheers Rich, Yeh, couple of them came out ok, got half decent sidehop shot. Will let you have a copy on disk, i'll probably get a few more this week if you're out riding. Give me a text and let me know when you're going out. Joe
  24. Yeh, I see what you mean with the height of the wall. Thanks for the comments, I'll keep practicing! Just out of interest, whats the preffered setting that you use for this kind of shot?
