Looks nice , i like polished frames , should get some less bmx looking fork on it though.
not convinced its a pace rc250 though.
heres mine and you can see these bikes are very different
Yeah it sick man!! up to a 180 rotor now though, but yeah loving it .
weird getting use to a silent brake though , the traditional "eeeuuuurrrrk" normaly fills me confidence , so ill have to adapt.
Hay thanks for all the comments guys! im well chuffed with the bike! though i think ill change the forks to a set of pace trials forks i have , and poss a black bash. just want to ride it now but the weather has just turned gash!!
thats cool man, dot 4 or 5.1 will work. may be able to do if you pop in , what day you thinking? 203 rotor must look a beast , same size as you rim give a txt to let me know
pop into work mate , ill sort you a bled kit out . its probably the best bleed kit ive used ( though im not a fan of avid juicy brakes) works with 2 syringes one at the lever and the other at the caliper , not much waste fluid either. let me know man. grant
After a long but worth while wait , my kot ms2 restored . havent had a proper chance to ride it yet as ive only built it today , going to tweek a few bits i.e change the forks for a staight blade. hope you like , comments welcome grant
yeah 90mm - 100mm is spot on for most 24inch wheel bikes and around a 2inch-2.5inch rise bars most people use somthing along the lines of an azonic double wall (crc have them on sale at the moment ). the same set up im using on my inspired. interesting looking bike you have , what frmae is that ? new bars and stem will make your bike ride sooo much nicer!! hope that helps mate grant
nah just run left hand lever with rear brake . faaaak oooouuuuf steve! all about smooth rims you only dont like my white grips because they are about as cheep as your mum running dule maggys now and got the new spring for my hub should sort it out. im not their biggest fan as i thnik most of it is pretty nasty , but i quite like this frame , but have my KOT MS2 comming back from the painters soon so wont have the zoo for long.
my 07 zoo! pitbull long , rides pretty good! Have got it with double maggy set up at the moment and pace forks , will get updated pics up soon I dont think its too bad for a newskool bike.
As mentioned before , dt swiss champions are the nuts or dt alpine 3's if you have the cash (would only use them on the rear though, tough as hell but a lil weightyer) or dt revolutions on a front wheel for a super light build!
i dont think there is much wrong with how he is selling them. the hs11 and hs77 magura brakes arnt realy used much and the mention of a hs33 would have been a good idea but dosent seem that odd to me.
fatty R stood for "fatty rigid" as you had the fatty D (disc only) fatty ultra (head shock) and a few other modles. but only the R and D have a 1/18 steerer to my knowledge. grant
Cool man , im working in nottingham this wed and thurs. yeah man give me a shout when you back and about, get a good ride going on , fair few riders around this way now . grant
they are just sun ryhno lite xl rims . there not that cheep in chorme though , bout 45pounds a rim . you could at one point get hold of chrome 24'' odysse hazard lite rims! rare as hens teeth now days. check hotlines they distribute sun rims. cheers
yep another one , but for those who have them , its well worth it! Before anybody says anything , my chain dosent need shortening , im running gears. Chrome rims are as good as a grind for power (except for when wet), and look better !
Looks real nice man! not normaly a fan or base frame but this one looks good! liking the xtr front brake and the fact your running gears! we are a dyeing trend! mint!
Jim's getting pretty sick man! were these taken in buckingham? if so i may have to make a trip over for a ride!! nice pics man! edit: just read the thread title !!
