  2. yeah 90mm - 100mm is spot on for most 24inch wheel bikes and around a 2inch-2.5inch rise bars most people use somthing along the lines of an azonic double wall (crc have them on sale at the moment ). the same set up im using on my inspired. interesting looking bike you have , what frmae is that ? new bars and stem will make your bike ride sooo much nicer!! hope that helps mate grant
  3. nah just run left hand lever with rear brake . faaaak oooouuuuf steve! all about smooth rims you only dont like my white grips because they are about as cheep as your mum running dule maggys now and got the new spring for my hub should sort it out. im not their biggest fan as i thnik most of it is pretty nasty , but i quite like this frame , but have my KOT MS2 comming back from the painters soon so wont have the zoo for long.
  4. my 07 zoo! pitbull long , rides pretty good! Have got it with double maggy set up at the moment and pace forks , will get updated pics up soon I dont think its too bad for a newskool bike.
  5. As mentioned before , dt swiss champions are the nuts or dt alpine 3's if you have the cash (would only use them on the rear though, tough as hell but a lil weightyer) or dt revolutions on a front wheel for a super light build!
  6. i dont think there is much wrong with how he is selling them. the hs11 and hs77 magura brakes arnt realy used much and the mention of a hs33 would have been a good idea but dosent seem that odd to me.
  7. cheers man yeah for sure . You going back to a maggy??
  8. fatty R stood for "fatty rigid" as you had the fatty D (disc only) fatty ultra (head shock) and a few other modles. but only the R and D have a 1/18 steerer to my knowledge. grant
  9. Cool man , im working in nottingham this wed and thurs. yeah man give me a shout when you back and about, get a good ride going on , fair few riders around this way now . grant

  13. they are just sun ryhno lite xl rims . there not that cheep in chorme though , bout 45pounds a rim . you could at one point get hold of chrome 24'' odysse hazard lite rims! rare as hens teeth now days. check hotlines they distribute sun rims. cheers
  14. yep another one , but for those who have them , its well worth it! Before anybody says anything , my chain dosent need shortening , im running gears. Chrome rims are as good as a grind for power (except for when wet), and look better !
  15. its an atom lab rim. love the colour rich sprayed his forks, did a good job too! grant
  16. Looks real nice man! not normaly a fan or base frame but this one looks good! liking the xtr front brake and the fact your running gears! we are a dyeing trend! mint!
  17. Jim's getting pretty sick man! were these taken in buckingham? if so i may have to make a trip over for a ride!! nice pics man! edit: just read the thread title !!
  18. pace did it years ago , rc 32 or 35 forks?? couldnt you get adapters for P-Bone forks for disc's , like in tricks and stunts? they were front mounted calipers? think hope made the adapter , you had to use a hope hub with it though as you used a shorter axle. .....that histroy lesson didnt help much did it??
  19. he riding alot more than i first expected him to be!! is good stuff , will be good to get the trials scene back in milton keynes when hes back in the summer! good stuff chris!..............as always!
  20. I enjoy the guy doing a whiplash on the wall , 24 is so the way !!! good pics man grant
  21. Hope make rotors to work with any brake , so thats not the hard part to find , getting an adapter will though. 140 front is pretty un heard of , though avid do make a 140 rear in the ultimate brake , though a rear 140 adapter would be 120 front . grant
  22. loverly , i think i will be trying pads from both steve and kris ! just glad to see options are avalible ! thanks again to all for a quick reply! are zoo pads fading out like they did once before?? how come they never made vee pad versions? maybe beacuse the wana promote the ol dengura? who knows. glad to see more pads for a smooth rim are becoming avalible ! grant
