  1. here is my new Marino with inspired geo . going for the twin disc option as i like the smoothness of no brake noise. still playing with fork options , want some pashley with a disc mount also im going to put a proper seat and post on it , so pm me if you have any bmx seats or posts laying about , otherwise im going to put a Eclat seat on it . hope its of some interest . SPEC: Marino - Inspired Geo Steel unbranded disc only forks Hope pro 2 trials on the rear , pro2 front , on rhyno lite welded and pinned chrome rims . hope 90mm stem with azonic 2.5inch rise bars xtr shifter with campagnolo carbon ti record rear mech raceface turbine cranks with ard guard bash ring and hope mono trials brakes
  2. i dont mind lending you my mono trials bore cap tool , if you pay the postage......and its looked after , dont like people bodging things without proper tools if they can help it. grant
  3. spot on , usualy a hope numbe 5 caliper is a 160 front and 140 rear brake . not much advantages other than clearence with a smaller rear disc , unless you weigh 7stone........? x
  4. I found zoo pads suck in the wet. magura grey pads on a ceramic im are good in wet , but all pads suffer in wet conditions , i dont uderstand how people can think pads work better in the wet ? also its importnt to keep your rims clean iguess that may be one cause to improvedbraking power , but still argue rim brakes beeing better in wet conditions a deeper grind will aways help as it will reduce surfae water on the rim and pad surface. failling all that , get a disc with sintered pads x
  5. I couldnt agree more! its nice to get back to a proper bike , not to mention going for a ride with th missus with no saddle aint much fun either 24 just opens up a few doors that are closed to tgs type bikes , more options . i love my 24 , but i still like my stock too. x
  6. Always good to have more types of 24 about , wether nice or not , more options is better than limited options. I like the matt green acctualy , but think the frames are a over engenered looking (with regards to the cnc'ing ) i have to agree though , the complete bikes look utter bollocks , i bet these could look realy nice with a good choice of components . on the whole , nice to see anoher 24 in the market . x
  7. Frames look nice , but cheep to me , finishing on themand the welds look a bit naff if im honest , but who am i to say . intersting how the effct was using the disc mount/drop out that was the same as the kot ms2 on the pre launh model and not now , yet the justice is .... anyone else notice that? sure they ride a beast though . x
  8. Looks hot!!!! quite bmx'y with the higher seat tube , i like! street is king!! cant wait to get pics of my marino up here! much likey x
  9. Sexiest stock for a while now , and not in silly 116 spacing! love .

  14. good old C2 brakes with soprt levers , they must be 7 years old now!? needs a chain device though , but non the less a loverly looking rig you've got there.
  15. planet X or a heavy tools i recon.
  16. Nice rig man. Iron Horse always have good paint jobs/graphics. bike runs big sag on the rear , nice if you not on heavy side hope you enjoy it !
  17. Looks nice , i like polished frames , should get some less bmx looking fork on it though. not convinced its a pace rc250 though. heres mine and you can see these bikes are very different
  18. Yeah it sick man!! up to a 180 rotor now though, but yeah loving it . weird getting use to a silent brake though , the traditional "eeeuuuurrrrk" normaly fills me confidence , so ill have to adapt.
  19. What rear rotor is that? looks tidy! bike looks really nice overall , just not to sure on the blue rims , but dose make a change from white .
  20. Hay thanks for all the comments guys! im well chuffed with the bike! though i think ill change the forks to a set of pace trials forks i have , and poss a black bash. just want to ride it now but the weather has just turned gash!!
  21. thats cool man, dot 4 or 5.1 will work. may be able to do if you pop in , what day you thinking? 203 rotor must look a beast , same size as you rim give a txt to let me know
  22. pop into work mate , ill sort you a bled kit out . its probably the best bleed kit ive used ( though im not a fan of avid juicy brakes) works with 2 syringes one at the lever and the other at the caliper , not much waste fluid either. let me know man. grant
