  1. Where did you get the spokes from? When I bought spokes from tarty they were pre-cut for a 3cross wheel. I dunno how you'd solve your problem, though. Try 4cross? I've only ever built one wheel, 32spoke, 3cross.
  2. My response to that was, whatever you like, but honestly, I'd put them in anyway, that's how it's meant to be.
  3. Normally, the booster doesn't actually fit and work properly without using the spacers. For example, on a 4bolt magura one, if it has no spacers the curvature of the clamp means, well, you need spacers. So use them, it's designed for them, unless you really can fit and fully use it without the spacers, in which case, whatever you like.
  4. Sigh, mine's not working. Perhaps if I get a desktop later, and a wired connection, I can share it with a connection splitting thing.
  5. As quoted from the bike4.eu site: Head angle: 73 degrees Wheelbase: 1025 mm adjustable BB height: +20 mm with 400 mm fork Chainstays: 380-395mm The gears are interesting... when I use the 12t on there the chain pops off the chainring... so I'm going to take some rings out of the cassette, it means I can only use a min of 13t, unless I can get it to work with this 12t singlespeed kit ring I've got knocking around When I first put the gears on and tried them, I got monster chain-suck, but for some reason it's behaving now I think it was due to it being in the high gears.
  6. craaazy guy with your bmx on trials bikes! It's certainly refreshing to watch your videos, it makes a nice change from TGS videos. Perhaps try lowering those forks? My friend tells me there are some spacers at the bottom of the springs that, if moved to the top, will lower your sus. I thought they were argyles, apparently they're not. What are they?
  7. They're not bad, mine does the trick wired into a HS33 system. The lever seems to hold a bit more fluid though.
  8. Does yours actually work? I guess it does, I've seen you post in here about playing online. Why am I cursed with a shit thing that doesn't go on live?
  9. Just curious, who else here runs their Xbox live with a network cable to a computer, connected to the net via wireless?
  10. I see.. Hmm, getting live to work on this comp is a faff. For example: It passes the test. YOU NEED TO INSTALL AN UPTATE, if you don't, you'll be signed out. "Ok, install update..." NO, your xbox live isn't working, SCREW YOU. Actually happened right this second. This is why I haven't got gold, it's too unreliable to spend money on. No Xbox live for me!
  11. My tag is revolverc24 I've not been on the xbox for ages now... Other than buying them, how do you get microsoft points?
  12. The ciguena 24" is very short, 1025 I think. If you go to the big london ride, I should be there so you can try mine then.
  13. Fortunately, there'll be so many of us that making the little shits f**k off won't be a problem.
  14. Are you saying there's an actual game of uno for the 360? Crazy stuff.
  15. Adam? You are wrong! I played around with more conventional settings, and they all required either the lever to be at a rubbish angle or the shifter to be at a rubbish angle. This way the shifter is out of the way, I won't catch it when I'm riding and change the gears. Also, the piece of cable outer I had for that part of the bike, wouldn't allow me to have it next to the lever! Good reasons for nearly everything. Oh, and the lever's flourescent orange and not red, but I wouldn't mind a different one. That's a HS22 lever, lol.
  16. Going along with the whole, 'I'm cool so I can put my gear shifter in a weird place' thing. Mental rise on the stem and bars, just how I like it! (although I've caught it handling like a mod a few times...) My shiny new mech and cassette, the sprockets need fiddling with, I might only have 6 in a few hours. That bramble branch is there for scale... This proves there was nothing holding my bike up! Except for the snow. A picture from the side.
  17. Manual dreams! I've had those a few times. I used to never be able to manual, and then one day after work I said to myself, I'm going to pull back until I loop out, and then I'll get a sense of how far back I can pull without falling off. It worked! I can manual quite far now. Keep trying it, pulling out til you loop out, really try and get a feel for what the bike's doing as you do it. This should also help you with the technique of pulling up into a manual. Once you get a feel for it it's basically pulling up til you feel the bike and yourself hit the so called chocolate point. I can't usually hold manuals directly on the point, and in fact if it ever happens I know it's not going to be a good manual, good manuals have lots of weight-shifting. Give it a try!
  18. It doesn't help that trials isn't particularly fast paced.
  19. Something that could be styled, 'royland rumble'...
  20. To create that I probably would pen tool and follow the lines, and then use stroke path.
  21. More f**king snow tonight. f**king snow.
