i did that, but i took the insert all the way out perhaps it needs soaking with wd40? also, maybe a last resort but if you take it out with the insert, you could heat the insert to expand it and then put it back in when it's off?

it was cheaper than chips, so I'm not complaining saying that, i'd rather blue than red I got this bike and a cro-mo specialized p1 frame by swapping it for a diamondback orion and a sun mammoth wheel it certainly solved the problem of having too many bikes. Plus, i was after the frame for a while, to build up with my handsome dog's parts.

Update: now with black onza forks, a front magura, and a tensile freewheel More up-to-date update: My new wheel! From tarty, its a tad too wide for the frame so I'll need a new one at some point (or some offset mounts) Its now got a black stem. You like?
