Right well, basically i've got an 06 Echo Lite frame and it feels really short and cramped to ride, so i was thinking about an 07 ZOO! python because its got a longer wheel base so this means the front end is longer right??. I also ride an 02 Dmr Rythem and its got a long front end and i love the way it rides, I know its not anything like a trials bike but im not sure how to explain this lol. I thought about a 24" trials bike aswell because i could pritty much build one with the parts that are on my mod and Dmr. Sorry if that don't make any secne. Thanks for any advice. Tom.
Trials riders?? . . . quite a few of my mates ride bmx's or mtb's theres just no trials riders really. Yeah folkestones got quite a few riders but i only know a couple of them. Good riding there though. Tom
Ashford, kent; there used to be a few people that would come out most nights maybe 6 . . . now its just 2 or 3 of us. The townish area is full of pikey chavvy wan*ers Tom
Thats just about the only way to do it. Shims are washers that you have to use to line the caliper up with the disc rotor, best way to do it is to put the caliper on the rotor hold the brake on then find the right size washer/s to fit in the gap between your fork and caliper.
A Base TA26 frame would be sweet as an all round streety trials bike, but i think dirtjams would be too long for the frame as im guessing its designed to run trials forks, running dirtjams would make the headtube angle really slack and mess up the way the bike rides. Tom.
Sand them, start off with something a bit harsher like 500 or 800 grit then go to 1200 then, if you really want them to be shiney 2000 then lots of polishing Tom.
ummmm do you mean vertical drop outs? A hope hub for mods would be sweet, but i don't think i would sell my profile and rebuild wheel just to run one Tom.
