  1. One of the best videos I have seen for a while!Impressive riding!
  2. Very nice!It looks lush! I can't understand how you made it by just looking at the photos but I think it's the same technique I use. I draw whatever I like, scan it and then re-drawing it using software like Corel Draw. After that I export the file to SignScript (software for Vinyl Cutting Plotters) and the plotter does the job for me. In this way, I can make perfectly cut stickers in every colour... There is another method though...You can print your drawing onto the vinyl and then cut it (you need to have some kind of special printer though)
  3. That is really nice!Is this going to be a steel frame?Have you measured everything on this?I mean ,except the WB, CS and BB RISE, the tubes, stem, fork etc. I always wanted to sketch my own frame, but I don't know how the parts should be designed to last...(I'm sure there are some standards for the parts too please tell me of I'm wrong)

    A.d.d. The End

That was just one of the best videos I have ever seen! Congrats!
  6. Impressive video!Really liked the riding, editing and music. That seems a nice place to ride too!I wish we had something like that in my country...
  7. I would say...better buy a new one as it's quite difficult to straighten this one. A new set of pads and a new rotor = super braking performance
  8. I had the same question a few days ago.Just pour some water on the rotor and ride with the brake on.The rotor will get hot. Do it a few times and you have a brilliant brake!I did it with my BB7 203mm and it works perfectly!Water surely helps the pads to bed in!!!
  9. Of course! Here Disk Pads I think that the red pair will do better as the material is softer which concludes to more bite and power. Search for Shimano Deor pads and see the whole list maybe there are some pads that will suit you better. The sure thing is that they fit the Onza Dual-Pull Brake (I have tried it) and I believe that with the right rotor they will work like wonder! I'm pretty sure that your rotor is the one which comes with the standart build-up bikes (it's like the 180mm Wavy rotor on tarty)
  10. Hello. I had this brake before so I can tell you. The rotor used with this brake is 180mm. The pads you need for it can't be found on tarty and are the same as the Shimano Deore Pads (you can easily found some on www.chainreactioncycles.co.uk).There are many pad materials by the way (organic, sintered etc) so be carefull what you choose. Some are better for ''bite'' , other for modulation and longevity. If I were you, I would choose some red downhill pads which are best for ''bite'' As for the rotor, I can't say much, but sometimes they can improve your braking power a little.

    Really enjoyed that.Very smooth lines!
  12. Love both of them!Nice colour schemes!
  13. Yes!Many thanks to everyone! The brake seems to work perfectly now and I managed to adjust the lever exactly as I wanted! And the power is just.... WOW
  14. After some tries I noticed that the lower I have the cable in the lever (by lower I mean closer to the bars) the more ''bite'' I get and the less modulation (the brake lock the wheel the most times, it's hard to use the right preassure to just slow down ). The higher I adjust the cable to be, the more spongy the brake feels and I get more control over my braking (I can easily slow down but if I want to completely lock the wheel after a gap to front I must really push the lever hard). So I think that SD7 levers works like this... However, I downloaded and read the official manual about the Speed Dial Series and it says that the higher the cable the more ''tight'' braking you get and the lower the ''softer'' (with great modualtion) And now I'm really confused as my opinion desagree with the manual. Can someone who has or ever owned these levers help? What the best adjustment for trials riding?
  15. Thanks for all your answers!I'll give it more time to bed in. As for the lever, I suppose I have to use it with the cable lower if I want more 'on-off' power?
  16. Hello everyone. I just received my new Avid BB7 09' disk brake and set it up.It's the 203mm caliper and rotor and fits my forks perfectly. I have also a new Avid SD7 Lever and brand new cable. So...I went through the instructions carefully and after a few tries the pads started to ''break in'' (I noticed an improvement in braking power, I also used the technique with the water after getting the rotor hot)) However I haven't managed to achieve the vicious power that every user of this brake has. The brake stops the bike but that's not what I really need. It's like not stopping immediately, just a ''fade out'' and if I want to go over the handlebars I really need to put much power to the lever. What could cause that?Everyone says that this is one of the best brake setups available so... Is there anything that I can do? And something else...How the Speed Dial Lever works? When the cable is higher in the lever there is more boost in the power and when lower more modulation?
  17. I would say go with the Limey...Top quality frame, very nice geometry and good price!
  18. Really nice video!Huge moves and unbelievable smoothness! Good editing. And...heh...this song is sung by an artist in my country.
  19. Inspirational as always!Really liked it.It's easily understandable how difficult is what you do and how much practice is needed to achieve what you have done until now. Congrats!Hope we'll keep watching new videos from you in the future.
  20. Yes, it has dedicated magura mounts. It's a nice frame.
  21. Nice bike man.I personaly have the Onza Cleaner frame. I had a t-rex frame too, so about the differences: The Hitman has a slightly thinner chainstays than the T-Rex The Cleaner has also a hydroformed downtube. The frames of the series (Spyrogyra,Hitman,Cleaner) aren't sold alone only as full bikes.
  22. Thanks for your help. Yes my forks have the mounts parallel to the front axle. I measured the fork mounts and they seem to be 51mm international standard fork mounts so the adaptor you showed me should be the right one. Thanks!
  23. Ok thanks then I think I'll go with the 203mm (with Avid SD7 Lever) as power is what I'm in search for. Could you please give me a link of the right adaptor (from tartybikes or chainreactioncycles), because this is the first time I am changing disk. Oh I forgot to tell that my forks are the the Onza Tuf Guy.Thanks
  24. Hello. I'm going to buy an Avid BB7 09' brake and I was interested in the 203mm rotor version. Can anyone tell me if I'll need an adaptor to fit them on my forks? Until now I was using a Onza Dual-Pull mechanical disk brake with a 180 rotor... What about the 185mm version of the brake? Also what's the best rotor and lever to use it with? I'm searching for raw on/off trials braking power Many thanks.
