  1. Random video on youtube while searching for bike maintainance and such (was into XC before). Then the Trashzen website for starting out. Soon my xc frame was broken and bought a cheap but proper trials bike.
  2. The new warehouse seems so nice! Happy to see you guys on an even better environment!

That was perfect in my opinion, nice lines, camera was sick and the effects were in the right moments. Really enjoyed it!
  4. Two years back I tried a dropgap from a staircase, nothing crazy just your normal 6-8 steps. Freehub skipped and landed on the corner of the lowest one with my ass. The pain was bareable at that moment, I remember some skater laughting and sitting on me while I was lying on the ground laughing too. Day 2: A massive bruise on the right side of my ass just below the waistline, that swollen black and red thing you get after a powerful punch. Needed surgery ,2 incisions and around a month or two no riding. Despite this, I remember the funny moment really, oh and the moment I got into the surgery room wearing a white tartybikes shirt and telling them not to stain it
  5. Some really crazy things on that bike! Enjoyed every single clip of it! Nice man!
  6. Just returned from riding but this stuff makes me wanna go out again! Nice riding guys!
  7. Just beautiful man!Nice the black colour scheme!
  8. Nice bike, seems clean and light. Color scheme is nice too, like the sticker work!
  9. Yes pretty sure Killswitch use 5150. Good luck then man!A last thing..try putting a tube screamer (real pedal or vst) before your amp. It will tighten your low end (like Killswitch and that stuff..no fuzziness just tight!). Even if you have the overdrive at 0 it will do the work, try something like the Mokafix Cream.
  10. Mmm understood. From what I've found from search on forums and some professional advice the only thing I can suggest is getting a decent tone from your instrument and playing rather than eq'ing etc. Some people say that a good guitar tone (I mean a good source signal) does not need any eqing in the mix later. New strings, a good instrument and the right mic placement (or tweak of the ampsim) will give you a better tone than a stack of the most expensive amplifiers and vsts used wrong or played lousy. So you're right wanting to use as less as possible. I'm really after something close to the Peavey 6505 and I like the ENGL sound too. Check out the Ola Englund stuff for sure, some nice tutorials and a huge collection of real amp testing. Also what bands you're in?I mean listening to, sorry
  11. Haha now I understand man, no worries and thank you. It would be nice to hear a sample of your work if you've recorded any since you're in metal too )
  12. Can't get you on this one man.Are you implying that I've not experience with the stuff? Yes I play most high gain stuff, what's wrong with that? Or this is the short version of my answer?
  13. Yes man of course. For every video I will describe the chain: This Time It's Different (Instrumental Cover) This is my instrumental cover of "This Time It's Different by Evans Blue". Guitars Chain: Harley Benton HBR10BK with EMG 81 & 85 pickups -> M-Audio Firewire Solo Audio Interface -> IK Multimedia Amplitube -> Waves EQ Different sound used for the lead and rythm guitar, all guitars are doubled also (played twice and mixed the tracks to taste), to give a more powerful sound. My Own Summer (Instrumental Cover) My instrumental cover of "My Own Summer by Deftones". Guitars Chain: Harley Benton HBR10BK with standard cheap passive pickups -> M-Audio Firewire Solo Audio Interface -> NI Guitar Rig -> EQ Bass Chain: B.C.RICH Virgin Four -> M-Audio Firewire Solo Audio Interface -> Studio Devil VBA PRO -> EQ Similar work to the above. Gaze Up At The Darkness (Cover) My cover of "Gaze Up At The Darkness" from the Castlevania Series. Guitars Chain: Harley Benton HBR10BK with standard cheap passive pickups -> M-Audio Firewire Solo Audio Interface -> NI Guitar Rig -> EQ My Hero Original Composition with vocals by Pauline Fiksson. Guitars Chain: Harley Benton HBR10BK with standard cheap passive pickups -> M-Audio Firewire Solo Audio Interface -> Amplitube for the clean section, Guitar Rig for the distorted and lead -> EQ
  14. Hi man.I've personally searched the section of amp sims and stuff and have to say you can get great results out of them if you know how to use the stuff the right way. Even if you have a real amp, there is no reason for anyone not to try them, there are many decent option even for free. You can for example, record a your amp with one or two mics and a di track to feed the amp sim. You can get a massive tone by layering the two or three tracks later, panning and eq' ing them. I'll make a list of ampsims I have personally tried and recorded with. Native Instruments Guitar Rig 5 IK Multimedia Amplitube 3 LePou Free Ampsims (SoloC, Legion etc) Peavey Revalver III Studio Devil Amp modeller pro I found that you can get really "close to the original" tones with Amplitube. Just unlimited combinations of mics, amps, cabs, pedals and effects. Also nice to try is LePou Ampsims. You can get some nice impulses for free by googling. Nice one for huge metal mixes if anyone interested. Guitar Rig has nice effects overall but found that it lacks in tone somewhat (many of its reviews says the same thing). If you're not a tone maniac, nice piece of software. Revalver is good but not as good as amplitube for me, nice selection of amps too. Studio Devil is beast, both this and the version for the bass guitar (named VBA pro). With some tweaking and some nice impulses you're ready to go.(Cheap compared to amplitube too I think).
  15. Pure beauty! Love the color scheme. Wish you to ride it soon!
  16. That was exceptional. The big stuff was a surprise on such a streety bike. Nice filming as always and I believe that the music track goes pretty well with the overall atmosphere of the video. Well done!
  17. Haha that's a great cover man ) Nice work!
  18. hey man, love the vibe of the song, dark samples and stuff! Nice to listen to during a night ride I assume. Keep it up
  19. Turned out pretty nice, would prefer it without the leopard "thing" on the top tube, but pretty nice job overall!
  20. That looks pimp man, love the raw frame!
  21. I'm living in a country where bike trials is an unknown word (even moto). I assume there are max 10 riders in the whole country). So you get something like these comments every single day: -Where is your seat? -They stole you seat! -Is this a pro bike?Where did you bought that from? Old people say the most I believe something among the lines: -Benches are for people, not for bikes. -(screaming voice)..Get down, you'll hurt yourself! -This is just not right, ride as every other man and be happy. The WORST and most annoying situation are passing pozers (that are heading to the club or something), just laughing at you (cause you have no seat). I'm pretty sure that they can't even ride a bike...I'm asking myself if they think that their shitty hairstyle, shaved legs and earrings with diamonds aka "look at me" is less gay..

That looks mint my friend. Some decent components you've got there, and it's definately well ridden (saw your videos nice stuff). Always wanted to try something custom, but I think the prices are a but up? Awesome bike!
  23. They look really nice! Hadn't seen enough pictures of the mod, it looks superb. Wonder how they would look in a different color as mentioned before.
