it should pick it up straight away even without discs. the cams pretty old so in my usual fashion iv'e lost the discs

hey, don't really no alot about computers ans such like, so was wondering if some computer wizard could help me out the camcorder is a Canon MV890 and i'm using a firewire DV IEEE1394 4-4 pin cable on a vista computer. Put it all together with the cam turned on and my comp will not recognise it i think vista had some issues with there drivers a while back but surely there are ways around it now? so maybe someone could tell me where i could get the driver update or whatever? cheers anyway Nick

tried to make my own voodoo from your intructions, basically i couldn't get the oil to seperate from the anti-freeze... think it was either the oil i was using was to thick (car engine diesel oil) or it was the cheapy washing up liquid? either way i'm going back to oil lol

i hear these are seriously good grips. Made from high-density foam for extra comfort, those echo ones are crap in comparison (post up some pics when you get them fitted!)
