maybe join an A.T.C (air training core) chinn, they'll point you in the right direction about flying and you'll have loads of fun doing it, meeting new people and going on trips where you'll get see and fly all sorts of planes.

the length of crankarms is down to personal preference... nothing wrong with any of the forged crank arms, just keep tightening the bolts up if your running square tapers and tighten the pedals after you ride for the first week of using them...

i was pretty worried on the lead-up to my first comp, but when you get there it's a pretty chilled atmos, sure there are a few sponsored riders which will take it very seriously, but most are there purely for fun and a good challenge good luck to everone
