silly question for people who ride street .. do you run a high rise handle bar? i have a mid 1.5" rise easton bar, but mr clem craig (CLOCKWORK) says i need a high rise, is this true? cheers

glad someone has said that .. there is hardly anyone i know who has a trials bike with a seat. When i go out on group rides, people look at my bike up and down like its dressed up as some type of slapper. But i know its good, lol

i live down in kent but would be up for riding up your way .. i gave up trials for a while, so would be good to get out and about .. not alot of peeps rode down this way no more ..

i normally clean the disc down with meths, that seems to work well .. pads i just replace, i can never get pads to work the same ...

just a word of warning, if anyone buys the £35 50/50 pedals ...... please, please buy a pin kit for them, becuase you will find you will kill your legs!, as there not to grippy

old skl is the way forward .. we used to have a street ride everyday at 6 in folkestone, used to be about 8 of us ... people on Pashleys, Rocket's, Sidekicks, Sun's OLD OLD skl stuff, those where the days, of who could pull the sickest manual or coolest flowing move, but now there is only like 2 out of the older people who still ride .. clockworkclem (local Legend) and me. All the other people just ride comps occasionly or play on rocks, not my cupa t really, id rather to a pub crawl and do a cool night ride! ill post a pic of my bike up asap!

Fatty forks Cane creek s3 headset Shimano UN72 B/B Middleburns and dmr v8 pedals King rear on ryno lite Bontrager xc wheel front (set up as tubeless!) easton ea70 bars with tioga stem maggy rear with deore v front (nokon cable - WIN) I have been riding trials on and off for 7 years, had to many bikes to list. Work at a shop in folkestone, kent www.ACTIVFOLKESTONE.com been here since school, now a nvq qauilifed mechanic which is cool. We dont sell much trials stuff, bmx is more popular round here atm. think thats about it really, its been emotinal!

cant do saturdays, workin ..... i always see some people ride outside, normally nice weather .. then when i finish at 6, it normally rains or sumin stupid

i would ride on sunday ... workin on sat!

im building up a norco moment at some stage, rode run a while ago with 80mm fox forks ... rode lush!

i have to say, if you replace the standard plastic pistons with metal ones .. and get some goodridge pads .. they normally work alot better. I do alot of these piston upgrades at my work, and it seems to do the trick! Avid juiceys work well, im tryin a new xtr on my trials bike atm ... seems to work well!

I think everyone should come ride folkestone ..... there is lots to do, natural stuff down the seafront ... loads of street, deff worth it!!!!!
