Yeah, your best bet is using a dremel or similar then filing to smooth. If its a double wall my guess is its a echo urban rim?

I think that most riders won't care much as there isn't a huge crowd of trials riders. So if there is a new rider in the area the chances are that they'll want to ride with him because they share the same interests not because of the skill level.

Theoretically there may be a chance of ash at lower levels due to the jet strem of previous planes, much like the reason you can't fly a cessna behind a 747. But still the ash would be long gone and surely the low flights wouldn't be affected? Weird -

Yeah same. Basically I think there is a world record to set, the previous 747 in 1982 set the record of gliding the longest in a non purpose build plane. Could be quite fun. -
