  1. Man u are playing sh*te! 2-0 now :@:@:@
  2. Your pretty good for only riding 14 months I'd say! Well done mate, keep it up
  3. I did aswell, although i did think it was a bit odd for NMC........
  4. but yeaah i know what you mean, i need to start getting lighter parts 'cause my dmr weighs an absolute tonne! You could go for ryhno lights, but they wont be anywhere near as strong as mtxs, but they are 100g lighter! ryhno lights!
  5. Bit of a weight weenie then Nah mtxs are far lighter than combats, well they feel it anyway! Yep - i was right, combat = 690g MTX = 605g
  6. Get sun rim MTX's! They are bomb proof, i cracked both sets of my combats, not even managed to buckle my mtx! When i bent the headtube off my old frame, my forks cracked, frame bent, but the wheel was still dead true! I've got the welded ones, there about a tenner more expensive than the pinned ones, but its worth it! MTX

    Pythong

    Your bike is f*cking stunning!
  8. If your sprockets cutting into your free-hub body it can't be wide based, so when you buy a sprocket make sure it's wide based Thats the sprocket i'm running, cheap and wide based Hasn't cut into my free hub body at all Click me for sprocket!
  9. Yeah at the moment you can only do 4 stairs, what happens when you get better? Why don't you listen to what allll the other people who have been riding a while and get a front ffw. OR since you have 150, get a profile that wont let you down, and probably have much better warrenty? But anyway, a hub isn't going to improve your riding, get bars and stem and brake pads(or upgrade to rear maggy!) and you could get a much better freewheel and stick it on the back if you really didn't want ffw.
  10. Why when everyone has told you not to buy the echo hub cause its not good at all, are you STILL going to buy it? And getting new bars and stem won't just make your bike lighter, it'll make it ride much better depending on what you go for. Echo hub is a bit of a waste of money, because it'll brake, and wont make a difference to how your bike rides to be honest.
  11. Got it in one! Couldn't have said it better myself, UNITED FOR THE WIN!
  12. The purple is nice untill it gets to the left chainstay/dropout when it goes to bright blue. Don't see why they've done this on all the new frames You won't be disappointed with a transition if you get one, just stick 100mm forks on it and itll be amazing to ride.
  13. I've never really liked the way they ride, but its down to personal preference i guess.
  14. I have a transition, and it rides amazing! So if i were to choose it would be the transition over the drone any day. You should also look into NS bikes, as they are high quality frames/bikes, and they apparently ride really well! Im getting an NS Suburban as soon as i get the money haha:). But if you are wanting to stick to DMR then get the transition, you won't be disappointed!
  15. Will the 8mm allen head bolts stop it from moving, all together, or will i still need tugs? I use chain tugs as the hub is on my dmr :/ Are these the bolts? bolts Or are they just the standard 6mm allen head ones
  16. I bought a pro II in january, and since then ive gone thro 6 chan tugs. The hub itself is fine, never skipped or anything like that, but it just won't stay in place(i have horozontil dropouts). If i dont have a chain tentioner on the drive side, i can't even cycle a couple of metres without the hub slipping in the dropouts and my wheel getting slammed into the frame. Even if i do have tentioners on my bike, they last about one ride, because they just like explode because the hub puts so much pressure on them to keep the wheel in place. Does anyone have a solution to this? (and yes, the hub is tightened as much as it can) cheers, Austen x
  17. Never done it, but im guessing it would be good to practice on an old frame first
  18. I thought that video was pretty good! Well done mate.
  19. You made a good job of correcting t- bird tom, there shouldn't be a capital M after the coma.
  20. Was snowboarding and crashed and f*cked the ligaments and soft tissue in my wrist. Not a fan of friday the 13th haha.
  21. That was well good! But if that was the crash video, wheres the video of people actualy landing tricks?

Majority vote is for tugs then! I'll stick to tugs(:

    Snail Cams?

Alright! On my Dmr at the moment im running chain tugs, but the other day i snapped one of them. I was just going to order some more, but since my frame can take snail cams i was thinking i might invest in some. Is there any advantage of using snail cams rather than chain tugs? And do they slip alot, so id have to set up my wheel a lot? Cheers Austen x
  25. What i did when i tapped my hope brake leaver was : 1. Drill out old threads so its smooth ( make sure you drill straight with the appropriate size drill bit) 2. Find the size of tap you need e.g m5,m6. 3. Then put some cutting compound on the tip of the tap ( This is a green substance, acts like a lubricant. You don't really need it.) 4. Start to thread the tap in. 5. Once its gripped do a half turn forward, quarter turn back (Quarter turn back ensures bits of spre metal thats been cut out is taken away) 6. Keep doing the above step untill required depth is reached. That should keep you right
