Not at all, the phrase "less is more" definitely comes into play with it I use a tiny little bit every now and again, smooth rim, vee, can get a bit loud from time to time but it's all good - works like a charm.

My old Monty bars were extended to just under 30" by using off-cuts from old bars, with a thinner diameter tube on the inside of them, jammed into the bar. Worked f**king well!
