  1. If Rick's out i probably will be.
  2. I'd always go for a Rhyno Lite XL. I love mine, plenty strong enough for streety trials and only weigh just over 500g each - quite thin in some people's eyes though at 29mm, could always look into Tioga DH rims - they're 35mm wide so would be pretty mint out back, and are pretty similar weight wise to an RL. Mate those to a set of ProII's and you'll be set! The front's only about 50g heavier than that Echo hub and, in my opinion, far better looking and will outlast it, my echo hubs died a death bearing-wise after about 6 months and i barely rode the bike...

    cars>bicycles.

  4. Yeah, but the odds of you ever getting your parts from T-UK are, well, slim to say the least. Tarty do a price match, anyway...
  5. Awesome day, despite the weather! Thanks to everyone who made it possible, highlight has to be Tic and the AQA shenanigans Yours, spent the day hiding in the trees. Ride in peace lads, we miss y'all...
  6. Cheers for that bud, I just remember going past various side roads in a state of confusion several times in previous years See y'all tomorrow!
  7. Evidently you don't know me at all... Adam, i'll be seeing you anyway babe, cheers for the offer EDIT: What exactly is the road name? I remember we overshot about 73 times last year
  8. In addition to the thieved tool fiasco, has anyone got a crank extractor they could lend me
  9. Haha, this is gonna be a right laugh, i'm gonna eat skip in spectacular style EDIT: Smooth rims and tar - fun fun!
  10. Heatsink reds if memory serves me correctly
  11. That's got "mad sick bunnyhops" written all over it dude!
  12. Stem looks way too long to be properly streety Lucas, tried finding a 90x15* (if not higher) stem?
  13. Very nice! Keep an eye on the chainstay where the chain passes by it, some of them had problems with the chain just eating through it...
  14. Hero - i'll be on a black 609 with a troll on the seat tube
  15. Right, Andy's seeming less than able/ willing to give me back my middleburn lockring do-jobby tool today, so has anyone got one I can borrow on the day?
  16. Ah man, i miss the green machine (it was still blue under the chainstay protector, 20 minute spray jobs rule ) Yeah, just get some paint, it's what it's all about, i'm onto my 3rd colour scheme in just over the same amount of months, winner. I think raw is next on the agenda
  17. A: lol B: Magura blacks are utterly useless within trials *awaits Rowan*
  18. 'Course it will come rain or shine - it's a memorial after all, and i'm sure the majority of people will be if their hearts are in the right place
  19. Ah dude In addition to Fannyscombe's post, bring on the smooth rimmed, skip eating lovin'
  20. Much better!!! You're getting pretty good, nice one
  21. Everything sounds fine there apart from the rear tyre, i'd say a 2.7 is WAY too wide, i'm using a 2.35 high roller at the moment with a Maxxis Downhill tube, had no problems with pinches, plenty of grip and rolls really nicely too I'd say a 2.5 should be the max width to look at, 2.35 is pretty much perfect imo. You start adding silly amounts of weight with tyres that big!
  22. Exactly, hence why i'm still reppin' dual ISO's for the masterplan™... Having come from using two non-disc hubs in the past, they're pretty pointless, especially on the front - loads of hassle if you want to change things. Having disc hubs leaves you with your options open, you can run whatever set up you like
