  1. Tris, sort it out. In a fairly long winded way, you owe me the money now and i've been waiting a good month or two. I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd hurry the f**k up.
  2. That's awesome! Love the description Ride it hard, Richard.

    Why Me?

    Learn to bunnyhop up everything
  4. Joe got the life-sized bit though. When you're done, roll it into a big ball and do what Simp would do
  5. I know! (but i'm not allowed to say) It's quite an obvious yet rather random one...
  6. Less of that, was just a question... Are you using a bashring? What cranks are they?
  7. For future reference, longer than a minute and not at night. You'll be onto a winner eventually Definately improving, mind.
  8. Hey dude, been riding on and off for about 2 years (Y)

NExt time theres a reading ride we'll have to meet up ;)

  9. Ok.. well what parts do you actually have? Just get on and ride it dude!
  10. Dents don't automatically write a frame off. As for a 'good' bike, what parts do you currently have? There's not a lot of point having a good frame with awful parts, ruins it completely imo. Spend your cash upgrading other parts
  11. Ahh didn't realise that. Totally agree with Monsuir Lee. Just ride it till you improve, upgrade the parts then go for a new frame, it'll be awesome. T-mags don't ride too badly at all!
  12. Front st single ply high roller, rear 2.35 dual ply st minion. Both on backwards, of course. Wicked stuff
  13. One fine summer's eve - while intoxicated - the wonderous concoction codenamed CHAM (Cheese Ham And Marmite) came into existance. Block of cheese (not too big), smear in marmite, wrap in ham, grated cheese on top. Microwave - about a minute or two (make sure it's nicely melted) Eat. It's a messy b*****d but tastes awesome
  14. At 5"3 you might be a wee bit small... Find someone with a fairly short stock and just ask if you can try it How old are you? Just go to the trials club, you'll be fine on the mod.
  15. Search? Get in touch with Mike Singleton (Fatmike)
  16. Say that to him then? If there's something second hand and i wont have the money for another week or so, i ask the 'rents to bail me out on special occasions. "hey dad, this really nice frame is for sale and i'd like to buy it. I don't likie asking too much from you but could you buy it for me and i'll pay you back next week when i get paid?" The worst he can say is no. (after the no, shut off and nod occasionally if he rambles on) Or ask said seller to hold it for you, but that doesn't always work hehe. Buying things with your own hard earned is actually wicked, spesh when you're young. I love my leeson to bits because in it's current attire, i've paid for 95% of it, which is sweet.
  17. I used to just use the derailleur, adjust it to give a good chain line then cable tie the main body to the chainstay. Worked a treat
  18. I think we should. I love the stuff. Speciality cheeses are the way to go - so many differnet combinations and it all tastes like awesome.
  19. Put it up in the for sale section? Just say you're curious as to it's value or something similar.
  20. Anyways, to elaborate on my earlier post; I like it mainly for the reason JT! pointed out. Everything seems (and feels) smoother even when it goes savagely tits-up 'cos there's just no brake noise Awesome modulation for manuals, loads of power - but not quite as much a s a maggy on a stock, which in turn teaches you how to ride smoother 'cos you don't have a brake that'll save you from being lazy. I like.
  21. I prefer rear disc Snd it's against the rules to have pics in sigs
  22. Rotors hardly ever get hit on the front, and if they do they're easy to bend back Weight, i barely noticed it (went from a maggie to a 200mm mono trial)
