FINALLY, someone of some real status, that people will listen to, has ageed with what ive been saying for the last 3 years! 5. for christs sake sort your life out and give the thread a proper title! how about 'chain tensioners for a Zoo python' my zoo? whats that mean? have you got a collection of f**king animals?
  6. hey guys..... seeing as the indoor trial has been cancelled completely, and theres nothing else to look forward to before christmas, i think a big PLYMOUTH ride is in order, to make up for the massive disappointment of the indoor  so plymouth sunday 18th-2 weeks today riding all day, regardless of weather. starting at 11 at the civic centre, for those of you that dont know where it is, get in touch with me and ill let you know  EVERYONE try and come down for this one! lets try and make it a really good ride! plymouth is awesome for both street and natural riding.... ive been really bored in portsmouth, because quite frankly it just doesnt compare!!!! roll on the 18th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. we also have a special thread for drunken posting.... and like to moan about women a lot.... hmmmmmmmmmmm, theres a point.... no female seniors yet.... lets keep it that way
  8. andy, if id have known it was that rude when u told me about it today id have kicked you in the teeth.... your a trials rider now boyo! start thinkings like one.... unless its long low and silver.... its POO
  9. meh. now i really look like a fool :S top vid andy, even if i was in it purely for comedy value!
  10. theres enough of usess already tuppers:P and going any if tarty and joel arnt mods anymore.... theyre made back to seniors anyway! so your thoery is floored gay little boy! talk to me on msn as well u beast! isve beens21 TRING to get hold of u gfor week!
  11. why the line through tartybikes?
  12. problem with that idea is it EITHER makes or breaks people.... if you do well in your lesson, you will be mega confident going into the test and do well. if you make even the slightest mistake in the lesson, it will scare you and you will fall apart in your test! ididnt have a lesson before mine-instructor was busy, didnt even use his car in the end, i wanted it over and done with, so borrowed my girlfriends mums car and off i went!
  13. meh. its a few years old now (well-4!) its also utterly fooked! the first attempt failed due to 'technical difficulties' the only games i EVER play on it are the java trials game and 3d pinball (Y)
  14. yes rowan! i did the mini myself, and the bike was done with the same paint! it cost me around 250 in the end in paints, and materials. although total cost of the resto was around £1400, which included new doors, new rear valence, and the whole carbon fibre front end fitted. this also included FULL bright work, so every single bit of chrome was new (Y) well worth it! practically bare metal, to have it done y a shop would have been looking at 4-5k! it took us about 3 months!
  15. not sure what times you want to travel matey.... go to www.nationalrail.co.uk
  16. i dont believe you... your just being miserable lately.... like ditching a perfectly sexy doublewide rim claiming its 'crap' you cant afford a new frame! sort your life out, and just go ride it properly! and put the proper stem back on it! the std echo stem is FAR too low, that WILL make it feel nasty..... now stop moaning and go ride properly you bitch
  17. well.... if your spraying your going to need a compressor first off! which will be the expensive bit.... depending on what your spraying you could PROBABLY get away with an 8-10 cfm compressor, although if the tank is small you will have to stop every two minutes.... tank wise you want at LEAST 100 litres, and ideally you need a good 14cfm for easy spraying.... mine has a 200L tank and produces 14cfm. cost was around 450 from machine mart on a VAT free day about a year ago.... with regards to spray guns, i used a gravity fed Devil Biss gun for the mini, which cost around £85 for the gun and two nozzles. youll also need a filter/pressure regulator if your wanting a perfect finish, as its amazing how much water is produced in the tank. i get abot a cup full out of mine every week when i empty it! enjoy!
  18. whereas i personally think steves full of shit and hasnt given it long enough..... STICK AT IT U TOOL! im not riding well on mine either at the moment.... but i can feel the potential for it to be WAY better than conventional frames once you adapt to the style of riding.... im LOVING mine.... gaps have got bigger, taps are no different, sidehops to back wheel are easier, its just BIG sidehops im having problems with atm.... although theyre no worse than the rex.... just not up to the level i was on my bt due to loosing the technique about 9 months ago when i got the rex.... STICK AT IT YOU FOOL! EDIT: peggs, if you do say that, ill kick you in the teeth, and kill your family while they sleep.
  19. i know you say that, and you may truely believe it..... i HATED every SINGLE minute of my A-levels, i really hated school and everything that it stood for! but i kpet thinking about the long term, and where i wanted to end up.... so after 2 years of doing the BARE MINIMUM, not doing a SINGLE bit of work at home during the whole 2 years, missing about 40% of all my lessons.... i sat my A-levels. i ended up with a C and 3 D's, which is SO FAR below what im capable of its just not funny.... so i essentially failed. but meh. such is life.... i didnt put too much effort in, didnt cost me anything, so im not fussed. i somehow scraped into portsmouth uni on a construction engineering course, which im absolutely loving! im working hard, having a great social life, and generally loving every minute of it.... the two nasty horid years of A-levels i took were most CERTAINLY worth it! just give it a shot.... if your in the first year.... youve not really had long enough to give it a proper go, and if your in the 2nd year, thers only 6 months left till its all over! stick at it!
  20. whats worrying is that a lot of these people appear to have commited offenses back in the early 90's, and have only been executed this year :P i know trials take time and everything, but one black woman near the top commited the offense in 1987 and was only executed in novamber this year!
  21. select bikes sell the 04 control for £250 still tom..... but for the extra £30 you really need to get the 05 at £280.... from select or tartybikes. you could of course buy my rex for an awful lot less than either of those
  22. £2200 is MEGA cheap for accomadation though  i wish i were allowed my bike in my room! manned recpetion and cctv make it pretty tricky, as does being on floor 6! my halls cost £3700 a year! pic doesnt show the size REALLY.... it goes back another 6ft from the bottom left of the pic....
  23. id go with the steel one myself...... i seem to remember hope stopped making ti skewers as they had a tendancy to stretch.... i THINK. the ti freehubs on bulbs were also VERY soft..... doesnt give me confidence.... go steel. half the price too!
