  1. Yeah we just got back as well. It was Adams 1st international event although he's been to watch many moto trial international events over the years. We really didn't know how he'd get on just as long as he enjoyed it and he did. To cap that off with 2nd place was an absolute dream. As you can imagine he's buzzing. Thanks to all the British riders, families, supporters for all the encouragement. He especialy enjoyed you queing his bike for him Scott. Roll on next year!
  2. Yeah I do. 320 Sherco sidecar 4 stroke.
  3. Anyone going to that neck of the woods tomorrow? Anyone know where we can go for a practice in the afternoon / evening?
  4. CLS recently rode in a huddersfield falcon biketrial (28th March). Finished 2nd!
  5. It's actually very different in the Isle of Man to the mainland. The sports council get very involved and help run minority events. The Isle of Man is a haven for sport and they also sponsor / fund competitors that show promise by subsidising the ferry costs etc to come over & compete in the british championship (Steve Colley, Josh Brain etc in motorbike trials)
  6. 2nd half of the doudle was as good if not better than the 1st. Tyke trial was bathed in glorious sunshine. Good sections and Adam was great. I'm very proud of him as he won the green route on just 1 mark.
  7. Well that's the first half done. Huddersfield Falcons bike trial was great. Good turnout. Was cold & wet to start but turned out good. Me and Adam both rode the middle (novice) route. I lost 2 and Adam lost 11. He'll be wooping me soon. Roll on Tyke trial tomorrow.
  8. Anyone else making it a double weekend of events. We are going to the Huddersfield Falcons event on Saturday & then to the Tyke trial on Sunday. Hope the weather holds out.
  9. Adam has had his new Monty 207 Kamel a couple of weeks now. Here's a bit of action whilst playing in the back garden.
  10. There is a motorbike training day there tommorrow. I'll be there training some people. Go on the mansfield Maun trials club website for contact details. If you do go you sign on at the steel shipping container. Do not go to the house next door as the land is nothing to do with him. I think you can go to Dudwood / berrycliffe most weekends
  11. He's been on it all day today and I can't beleive the difference. Being so much lighter seems to have given him so much confidence. Riding straight up 4 pallets and started to do backhops now!
  12. Finding it OK. Only got it out of the box tonight so had about 1 hour on it. On his yellow monty he was running 16-16 but with this so light he is on 16-14 and so far it seems OK. Rusevelt - They are 20" wheels. because he's so small & light it doesn't need a 19" wide tyre on the back. Effectiveley it's got a mod front tyre on the rear and a narrow 20 x 1.75 on the front. It's designed for 7 to 10 year olds!
  13. After a few delays Adam has finally got his new Monty 207 Kamel. It's designed for kids with a short wheelbase of 927mm I only have scales that measure to the nearest 0.5kg and it says on those it weighs only 7kg!! Needs to be busy practisin before the 1st comp of the year on sunday at shipley glen!
  14. Adam is going to try green unless it looks way too hard, then he will drop to white.
  15. Bou is a god when it comes to bike control. 1st world round of 2008 in Luxemborg all the good lads were practising 3 rocks in a row & making hard work of it. Then along comes Bou and makes it look like a main road ON HIS BACK WHEEL!! Awesome.
  16. My son Adam does. First round this coming weekend at Shipley Glen!
  17. I think it looks great. Adam. Any idea when the new Monty 207 is going to be available?
  18. Are people still going with amount of snow around?
  19. We will make them, dates permitting, but only if theres a novice route
  20. We will probably be there. (Depending upon the snow!)
  21. Would of fancied that but will be celebrating my 40th birthday this weekend!
  22. yeah I go practising with my son and I am fourty on Friday. I did approx 3 huddersfield Falcons events last season. My first ever comp was when I was 12 back in 1981!!!
  23. Adam has now been on 20" wheels for appprox 2 months. This video is clips of him riding at home, matlock quarry & blackpool. The bike is approx 10 years old. It's a steel Monty 207. Here's hoping the new 207 is available for the start of the new season. Enjoy. Video
