The 04's do the same thing, BigAl has cracked like 3 tightening the grub screw up, but one of our mates is a bit thread happy, tends to destroy things involving threads, and i think he was involved with cracking one of them.
If you can, get 2 peices of wood in the vice, and clamp it inbetween the peices of wood, the teeth will grip to the wood and then use massive leverage, my mate uses a scaffolding pole, works every time Kieran
Monty steerers are steel (or titanium, depending on what ones you have.) Knock the star nut down and cut it with a grinder, a saw will get you nowhere fast.
Oh my god, what a beast! Bigal bought his one off of me, I learned on it, loved it and I've still got the frame hung up on my wall, never gonna get rid of it.
Yeah, but look at the difference, zoo forks are tanks, and the SL's, well look at them they look like they're made out of tin, judging by the thickness of the metal
Hi I've been looking around for Hope Mono's recently, and I'm having no luck, but I've come across a few mono m4's, what are they like for trials? I've heard they're not as good as a mono, is this true? Cheers Kieran
I would assume they are'nt that good, looking at all their other parts, they all tend to be weak or defected, so I would stay well away from them, but I cant speak from experience, its just my opinion. Hope this helps, Kieran
