I just fooked up a bunnyhop gap, and kinda landed hard, and my bottom headset cup has moved in the headtube!? It's like 1mm clear of the frame at the rear, and the headsets gone really tight. Has anybody else done this, and the frame was ok? I have a feeling its flared it. Ashton Edd Tongue frame, Pig Pr (sealed) Headset.

This is for 26" though. I have to say, I got my 24" 2.5" Maxxis High Roller ST yesterday, fitted it on today, and I don't like the way it rides! The tyres a fair bit heavier than my old Halo, its very 'High' so it rubs on my brake cross over cable bit :-, its got more rolling resistance than a square, and it makes my bike feel dead :ermm: ok, im a fag, but I don't like it. Better give it a proper chance, I suppose.

Hmm I'd run 521's if they made them in 24". I use an aircorp, ok I spose, dented it once or twice, they knock out well though. Get a 521 spray it black and put poncy stickers on it (Y)

A mate of mine has a MAD, in short its a pig. What setups did you guys run who have/had them? His is: Mad Frame (older not new nice ones :-) Pig. Kona P2's Short (70maybe) stem Ok actually. Some random bars, risers. 521 on Deore. Very Beefy WTB 2.4" tyres F&R Koxx Rim/XC rear wheel, DH Tube. Hope Rear Disk :closedeyes: Mono M4 i think! Front V, SD5 setup. Burns, V8's, Deore cassette/mech/shifter. I'll get a pic up. What would you put on it? cheers rich.

Replacement lever seals are available now, so isn't that half the problems gone!?

It sounds pretty dead to be honest, over 2" of crack is rather large! Welding it may work, for a while, probably worth a shot.

Mine have so much bite, increadably grabby, to much so infact! Never (honestly) slipped when it was dry! ANY moisture and there gone! Plaz CRV's Atomlab Aircorp black anodised rim.

Erm, I've had my Plaz Crv since, err October, the end, there about half worn, they wore well fast then slowed down! I'd expect them to last another 5/6 months! so thats one I suppose. I'll be buying Heatsinks. Never using a grind!

Flush It through with gallons of water, I done mine in the bath with a shower head thingy. I'm sure someone will moan at me, but clean all the lever internals with WD40, lube it up good and proper! Then bleed it nicely. All from a V guy hehe! You'll need a syringe and some tubing, and a Magura Barb connector from CRC for about a pound!
