if your on about the lever, just take the lever blade off and it should slide out, if not then just use something to grip it and pull it out slowly.
hope this helps
hey all,
just what to know weather i should have a grind or keep a smooth rim for these pads.
dont really like grinding my rim, but if i have to i will
what do YOU have, and how are they??
i dont know what you mean by "how thick" but they protect your palms and inbetween your thumb and index finger lovely.
so id say reasonably thick, but still light and comfortable.
here they are. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=24900
its an ADAMANT A3 echo urban wheels echo cranks echo bars, forks and stem. getting monty tyres. bb5 front maggie rear. bout it i think.
i was going to try to single wall the rims, how do i go about doing that?
iv always been a hs33 up front rider, but i had a go of my mates onza blade and i just love the disc. i love riding rocks and with a disc you can do lines so much smoother.
Plus if you live where there are loads of hills it helps abit, no squeaking
thats what i mean, you can adjust the inside pad with the knob, and the outside pad with the cable. there is an adjuster on the caliper for the cable and then one on the lever. ( or if you have a XTR lever 2) hehe
