The only thing that would ever tempt me away from stock is a rockman mod. They just look so awesome proved here.
-
That looks great I think, well done for giving it a go and for the end result. I think yu should keep the forks as they are, they would probably look better in black along with the stem but not camo.
-
Get a front try-all tyre and a rear monty, thats the best tyre combo, even at the price you will not regret it. Also make sure you have a nice at least rear tube in
-
I was thinking it was about time that that was due, just as good as ever, love your style
-
Looks good, but please change those bars for some risers.
-
I am not entirely sure but it is very short, I have a try-all nuc stem and top cap you could buy with the bars?
-
Very nice and I like the idea with the dropouts.

Need Help With Finding A Good Fork(26")
Duncy H replied to From_East's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Only heard good things about trialtechs, have been told they are the best forks money can buy. If only I could afford some! -
Well I recently did a similar thing to you, I transferred the brakes, bars, bb, 165mm cranks and pedals. But going further I could have used the headset, front hub, possibly back hub if it is a mod-stock and a few others.

Well I was awaiting money from him but didn't recieve it and he sort of explained, he told me he had sent three cheques and no one had recieved them. But as said if you don't get the money don't send the parts. Anyway he seems sound to me, just seems a bit unlucky really.
-
We could, but you're not worthy!
-
Well what else would they do? Send you a grind in the post? Seriously though, they don't bite! Just ring them.
-
Do it! I am pretty sure you won't regret it. The bike looks great, what is the weight difference between vee/magura/disc. Am I correct in thinking that maguras are lighter?
-
That was amazing!!! Best video I have seen in a long time. I was very impressed by all the editing Again that was superb
-
I am pretty sure that none of the 05+ magura lever designs will not fit the TR. You may be able to get an 04 lever in there but I see no reason too as the Tr levers are great!!!
-
I believe they are actually in stock at tartybikes at the moment, just haven't been put on the website yet?

Pads: Phatpads in phatpad backings and heatsink backings Time used: I think in total maybe 2 1/2 months Rim used: Try all Grind: Yes Ceraminc: No Brake used: Magura What is your opinion of a working brake: Hold on anything and rather good bite How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Rather good but need setting up right, used croco yellows, echo greens, rock pad blues, black and red maggie pads lol. Review: I found that these pads needed to be set up perfectly to perform well. However whatever the set up they had awesome bite. On a really really deep harsh grind they held well but they soon seemed to just not hold at all barely. Although to be honest I could have done with maybe more of a booster fitted and my grinds aren't the best in the world. As for in the wet the perfomance is not effected and do well. Oh and the backings are very impressive!! Pads: Try-all croco yellows in phatpad backings Time used: 2 months Rim used: Try-all Grind: Yes Ceraminc: No Brake used: Magura What is your opinion of a working brake: Hold on anything and rather good bite How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Best pads I am yet to have used but haven't tryed much. I have used phatpads, adamant white pads, echo greens, rock pad blues, black and red maggie pads lol. Review: These were rather impressive, better hold than the phatpads but not massively, they perform across more set ups imo. The bite was rather pretty dam good. I can reccomend these but only because I haven't used much else. One thing though, the wear rate was not so impressive so again I am going to try something new. Ordered some TNN LGM refills to fit into my phatpad backings and after a couple of weeks I will try and find time to write up a review.

Gorgeous T-mag Custom (not Quite Complete But Almost There)
Duncy H replied to ashleysmith's topic in Bike Pictures
Frame looks brand new!!! I started on one of those, good wee little bikes. As said try to change the bar and stem and get yourself a nice set of pads -
Them rims look the dogs!!! Will look better with my forks and tyres on. Please tell me you are getting a new stem? Otherwise that is going to ride awful!
-
Anybody else care to help? If I can I will try and get to the falcon comp What exactly will I need to take that is vital?
-
Wow! I bet that is a big step up from the mission! I'd love to see a video of that being ridden.
-
Why do you ride there a lot? Might do if I can organise some lifts Even a few clips would be great
-
I was thinking of going to watch as my shoulder is playing up and I don't think it will be very comfy to ride on on sunday. But it is at least one and a half hours drive from here I sort of have some footage but its for my new video that I was going to release and probably won't be much use as I have moved to stock and it is on mod. I'll try sort something out. I ride a lot of falcons moto trials and they are great too, is it the same people who organise the bike trials, like sue and nevielle painting? I think it will very much be likely that I ride novice and I noticed this date. Rode a lot of moto comps here again and is only 25mins from my house. Do you have any videos of yourself to compare? I noticed you won a few of the novice rounds
-
Yeh they all seem to have their roots around there. I presume some of these spots are awesome? Back on topic, i tryed a load of lines today for the video but the damage to my shoulder is just too much and looks like i may have to stop riding for at least a few days. More comments please!

I think I will try the super glue method first then if that fails I will cut the bolt somehow. Oh and if you are wanting the stem too i will order a replacement bolt, just to let you know
