Sorry to piss on your chips, but the world's moved on a lot since the 1950s (Civil Rights movement, anyone?). If you wanna bring history into this we'll nip back to the greeks and romans, both of whom had almost entirely bisexual societies... Suddenly the old world doesn't seem as pure as your limited experience makes it seem, perhaps? Joe x EDIT: With that I'll officially retire from this thread, I think. I've said my piece and if you remain bigoted after that you're either delusional or invulnerable to reason and logic. Good luck to you, whatever your orientation.

Haha, you might want to keep the allusions to shooting people out of it then Can I get a character reference off someone who's met me? How camp am I, almost certainly more than most guys my age, but not daft amounts I don't think... Joe x

Dear crikey, another one?! Why the hell shouldn't I have a penis? I quite enjoy it, and I'm not to taken with the idea of giving it up to please your sensisibilities. I get annoyed when people insult me for no reason. While we're on the subject of violence I'm pretty sure I could take you out. Not all gay guys are slight and girly, mate Joe x

  6. Transfer season is beginning, after many years working together Kenny Belaey and Koxx are parting ways. Many thanks to Kenny for all the time we've spent together, these four years will remain engraved in the history of Koxx. We wish you good luck in your new adventures. See you on the podium! If you care to read what I wrote you'll find I've answered both your questions. No it's not bad that you don't like gay men per se, what I take issue with is that there's nothing resembling cogent reasoning behind it; and yes, it's right, there's nothing wrong with having a sexuality. Just because I can't I identify with it personally doesn't mean I reject it out of hand. This is where you and I seem to diverge. Joe x PS You'll note I included my opinion as well, it's just that mine's well-founded.

You judged all gay men, being as I fit that category I'd be interested to know how you think you weren't judging me. Plus; don't talk down to me. I'm 18, I vote, I pay tax, I'm male. Man suits me just fine as a definition, thanks. You didn't choose straight, you've always just known, well same for me. Nothing. At no point have I said you're not allowed to. I've not even said I don't like you. However, you've explicitly said you hated me. I've got a right to be a little indignant methinks. I also happen to think your values on this subject are badly taken and badly held, forgive me for trying to push back the veil of ignorance a little. It's the world may I disagree with here. Some people will find it offensive (me, for instance). What a non-argument Just because other people don't get it doesn't mean you can hide behind their ignorance as well as your own. Nope, I said I can accept other people's sexualities, they run a little deeper than opinions and I really couldn't change them if I wanted to (I don't). I'll reiterate what I said above. You offended me; and not something I've chosen for myself like my politics (which I'll quite happily take criticism on), but something that's just a part of who I am. You'll excuse me if I have a go at you Idiots beware: I've got my head screwed on and I known my way round an argument. Your rhetorical crap will not sit well with me. I respond to reasoned argument, well, reasonably I'll not be intimidated by invective or non-sensical ramblings (see above). Joe x
  9. The little piccy I've drawn shows how all the washers and spacers should go together. The two differently sized spacers are, of course, interchangeable depending on how far away the rim you want the caliper to rest. Having the two convex spacers pressed against the caliper like that allows you to adjust the angle at which the pad hits the rim Joe x
  10. Mine went there, too. They really ought to use an open-ended gusset... I would ride that til it snaps, the whole front end of the bike'll come away and you'll probably snap hoses/cables as well incurring more expense. Maybe look to go second-hand? Joe x

I don't know a single gay person that'd agree with that. What grounds do you say that some people choose to be gay? I'm not being facecious here, if there's some study or something I've missed I'd be interested to hear Joe PS Thanks to everyone for not flipping out and flaming me, we've definitely come on past the 1950s kinda mentality. EDIT: Extra clarification, I'm bi. I've always had an issue understanding how one would dismiss someone as attractive based on the body they're born in. I; however, am capable of just accepting that some people think differently to me

How the flip is it unnatural? Who genetically engineered gays? What otherworldy force called them into being? Chimpanzees exhibit homosexual behaviour, as do bonobos (pygmy chimps) the species we descended. It's as natural as having ten fingers. If you're weirded out by it, that's an issue and I recommend you just get your egocentric little head round and get on with your life without judging people you've never even met. Joe PS Quit kidding yourself with the "people may find this harsh" crap. You know they do, you just don't wanna address your own issues and go on pretending it's everyone else's fault.

Ever wonder why that might be, or are you basing a seriously hurtful statement on a whim? Doesn't sound to me like you've given this much though, have I ever done anything against you? Met you, even? Why do you hate me? Joe
  14. Hmmm, difficult. Some moves that are arguably contact have been around for a long time before contact became an art in its own right. Such as neck rolls and palm spins. Technically, yeah they're contact, but they're more regarded as just parts of general twirling EDIT: If you wanna have a look at the forefront of contact spinning join the forums at homeofpoi.com if you're not already a member and search for the l.a.b. report videos. It' not right... Joe
  15. Contact, spinning is (warning: huge generalisation incoming) spinning without actually holding the staff, so all the moves in the video of Antti I posted up there where he's got the staff rolling over shoulders arms chest etc can be classified as contact moves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-0g8j-2biQ < Little video of what I can do contact-wise, although I've learnt steves and continuous steves since then Joe x P.S. After over a month of trying I've just cracked juggling (only a 3-ball cascade so far )

Closer to 1 in 10. Plus, most gay guys don't act like you've suggested, which leads me to wonder where they hell you're getting you 'information' from! I don't like the way chavs act. Doesn't mean I tar all straight, white males with the same brush, lucky for you You're a delusional lad, eh? Other than irritating your (overly sensitive) sensibilities what harm does it do? Why on earth would you want to end something that has no bearing on you at all. Would you rather end prejudice or homosexuality? Serious question. Joe x

Why should someone act in a particular way just because of the body they were born in? Doesn't seem right to me. I think you need to get over that, it really is your problem rather than anyone else's. Joe x

It'd be hypocritical not to agree on some level or other To those who "disagree", I shall ask simply "Why?" and more importantly what are you disagreeing with? There's no chosen stance, no politics to it. It may seem a little weird to you (I know full-on hetero-ness did to me) but it's something you'll work round to. It seems to me that the vast majority of people who recoil at the word gay are still just a little shocked that there are others ways of doing things and that there's nothing wrong with it. Joe x

So far to my mind this is the strongest candidate, I'm gonna let it sit for a few days with me looking at it so I can live the idea in a bit, methinks. Joe x

I'm thinking about getting this, or something very like this done, nothing big, maybe a coupla inches across if that. Ideas for where I'd could put it, and pricing for someone to do a good job of it? I've absolutely no clue about tattoos *shrug* Joe x P.S. Yes I drew it
  23. Kinda shifting away from the topic but is anyone else on here interested in fire arts? I've been spinning fire in various forms for a while now and I've done a little bit of fire-breathing; but I want to take it a little further with burning-man stuff. I've been working my way up to a hand transfer from one wick of my staff to the other (so one head lit and one unlit; drag finger across the underside of the lit of so you wipe enough fuel off for it to burn for a short while and use that flame to light the other head). I can already do a palm burn. Just wondering if anyone else is a pyromaniac like me Joe x
  24. I'm a circus-minded person myself: diabolo, poi, staff, unicycling etc I missed the Cirque when they performed in Amsterdam 'cause I had an exchange student, blergh. I was ever so miffed about that. Being mainly a stick-twirler nowadays and kinda pushing toward contact spinning, the video (link below) of Antti from the amazing rubberheart duo at EJC gets me a little bit too excited. Joe x

    Conspiracies

Odd how the one with the most convincing evidence against its reality (the moon landing) is more popularly thought to be fake. May I be so bold as to ask exactly how many of these opinions are informed ones? Or are you guys going on gut-feeling? Joe x
