cool to hear Baz, i've been slacking with my riding lol. As Patt said ymsa trials are mint, all around the derbyshire area like bracken rocks etc, uci rules, classed as a brit championship now too, doesn't get much better than that really! had my garage broken into which is where i used to practically live lol, working on karts, motorbikes and bikes, they had all my fancy tools and tool chests, my motorbike, my bike the lot, feels horrible knowing someone has been there, even more frustrating when they do it at night when your in bed but didn't hear them!!

it's the same compound as it's from the coustellier's them selves. "Daddy Coust" is Michel Coustellier, Giacomo and Gilles dad.

Megamo are ace, the twin disks were like the "posh" bikes that everyone wanted. I still like them! Although they weren't that great on the back wheel from memory. I've been to the megamo factory and had a look around (just after they shut down) and it was awesome seeing all these brand new dual disks lined up, shame they went bust

I didn't mean it in the engineering sense, i meant in the feel and general performance of the brake pad, i've tested and used my fair share of pads and the cnc route is definitely the best. -Hugh

I've ran both coust's and red pads both in cnc backings for quite a time now. I prefer the red's over the cousts, there's slightly more bite, louder honk hehe and great hold. The cnc backings are a must, they really improve braking like you wouldn't believe.....and look pimp too! I'd go for the reds. -Hugh

The rim's may not be manufactured like that but as with nearly all the koxx riders the rims are filed out from round holes to square so i'm thinking giacomo has done the same with the dob rims. -hugh

Giacomo's rim is probs more to do with the fact that it was magnesium! Gilles had single wall try-all rims with huge squares filed out but his were fine. Maybe it's the magnesium + Giacomo's huge amount of power + big drop = busted rim
