  1. Well, I used the search and I saw Muel post in a previous topic that he used Wd-40 in his Tensile and it hadn't skipped for two years. And Muel does know everything! :$
  2. I cleaned it out with white spirit, then dried it, then put WD-40 on it. No luck.
  3. The pawls look alright. I couldn't see anything wrong to be honest. And they are clicking indenpendently I think. I cleaned it out though
  4. Firstly, it isn't the chain. Dunno if it's any of those things to be honest. It always skips at the same place. Like if I find a skip, if I keep the crank at that same place, every time I push down it will skip. So the only thing I can think of is that it's the ratchet. Anyone else have any ideas?
  5. I've had this freewheel since August and it's been amazing. Skipped about 5 times in total until yesterday, I suddenly got about 5 skips in the space of an hour. Anyway, went in for the night not thinking much about it. Today, I was just cycling normally and all of a sudden it's skipping loads. Like.. 15 times in 5 minutes. It's rediculous. So I took it all apart. Cleaned everything with white spirit, everything seemed fine. The springs and pawls looked ok to me, put it back together, put a bit of WD-40 on all the moving parts and it's still skipping loads! Does anyone know what the problem could be? Is there something obvious i'm missing? cheers
  6. Whoever I was talking to on the phone about 10 mins ago about how to get a lockring off a Tensile, thanks ALOT. Was a great help. got it off now.
  7. They wear fast but they're damn good.

to go through that many freewheels you are doing something wrong.
  10. Yeah he is I think. He seems to be on here most days.
  11. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=144456 Trialtechs, buy 'em!
  12. IMO they look horrible and tacky no matter what your colour scheme. They get dirty easy, and also they don't have as good performance. Don't know this for sure but my mate had them and they were shit, then he got the black ones and they are soo much better.
  13. Alright. Cheers for that. Think i'll give it a shot. just wondering, just how much flexier does it make your back brake? I'm running a built in booster with a Trialtech 2-bolt on top and it's really rigid and solid. Feels great but I don't know if I want to sacrifice that feel or not.
  14. Whaaat!? Didn't you fucking kick the shit into him? Did yous talk about him being a scamming cunt at-all?
  15. STOP BUMPING YOUR BLOODY TOPICS!!!!!! You've got your answer. Fuck sake.
  16. Just a quick question, how much better does a 4 finger blade actually make your brake? Do you think it's worth getting for the rear? I'm not sure whether to get one or not but my back brake is lacking in hold just now.
  17. I wouldn't reccommend discs. Don't like them. I think you should get a front vee and rear maggie. Love that brake set-up. SD7 arms and lever, plaz pads, sorted. Magura, TNN LGM, Heatsinks, done. Go for it.
  18. No, its just we weren't born yesterday. Tool.
  19. We're not doubting for a minute that you won't get your part. You most definately will, and in mine and duncan's opinion, Heatsink pads are the best, you just need to ask yourself if you willing to wait. Sometimes he takes a week, sometimes a month. Having just released new backings and stuff, he was going on about them quite alot, so he should at least be on the ball right now when more people will be ordering from him most likely.
