Oh man I love this Wismec Releaux RX200! I mainly bought it for it's 3 battery capacity, only really use it in VW mode but the other modes are there if I ever need it. Don't go anywhere about 30w either, the 200w is there if I feel like burning my throat lol.
  2. Is there a way to preview your post before posting? I can't find the button anywhere.
  3. Depends, if you have a shitty membrane keyboard then yeah go mechanical if you 'need' the clicky tactile feel. I was in your situations about mechanical keyboards but in the end I thought it was pointless. I have a gaming membrane type keyboard now and it works just fine, typing and gaming. I've had a play in shops on some corsair, razer mechanical keyboards and I found the clicky noise annoying. You can get silent keys but that just defeats the object of being able to hear it in the first place. If you feel like splashing out go ahead, your money lol.

I ordered a Wismec Reuleaux RX200. So hating the single battery life of my Subox!

Anyone with a Bellus have this problem? When I unscrew the top cap to refill the juice and screw the top cap back on, it leaks a bit. I then have to flip it upside down, take the lockring off, clean it up, blow out any excess juice, fire it to burn up some juice then put it all back together and then it's fine? Maybe I don't have enough cotton in there...

Got me Bellus yesterday. I like this, much easier to recoil/wick/fill than my Goblin. The drip tip is a little shorter than I like but that can be changed. If it was about 10mm shorter it would be perfect. Have it in single coil at the moment, nothing crazy.

I haven't got round to doing anymore models in the last year... I keep meaning to get back into it but other things keep coming up. I'll get back into it soon, maybe in the new year. I've got several work in progress kits that been in work in progress for months!
  8. Got mine in the black friday week for £20 cheaper than usual on overclockers. I guess this is bit of an investment as it will last me for a good few years. I thought I'd get rid of my 660s now before they become worthless in the 2nd hand market. I should get about £100/20 for them so I've only really spent £300/280 on this 980 which really isn't that bad if you work it out that way.
  9. Cheers bro. I'm going to stick to one GPU from now on but when this 980 becomes a snail I'll add a second one in but that won't be for a few years.
  10. Oh man this card is a beast. Been playing pCars, Dirt Rally, Fallout 4 pretty much maxed out except the fancy anti-aliasing settings. I'm still waiting for the backplate to arrive then I'll install that to hide that exposed top
  11. It's almoooost done. Shielding and wiring to do, then a clear pickguard to protect the shinyness
  12. Starting to, but it'll be a while til most of the content is 4K, which I bet won't even be all of it, just the popular shows/programs. You're going to be watching 1080p stuff for a while still. Next gen consoles MIGHT be 4K, but I doubt all the developers will all develop their games in 4K. And I bet like current gen games not all of them run at full 30/60 fps 1080p, I doubt next gen would be true 4k throughout. An average modern gaming PC can probably play 4K videos no problem but can it play games in 4K at decent settings with playable fps? Say you can play at max settings at 1080p 60fps, switch to 4K and you'll have to turn down the settings for sure to get any playing framerates. I think I rather play at 1080p if that's the case. You could always hold out for a bit until 4K stuff is more common. 720p to 1080p isn't that much of a difference anyway but there is between 1080 and 4k. I also think 3D is a useless gimmick and people fall for that shit. I do own a 3D monitor myself but it wasn't a deciding factor when I bought it. I tried the 3D once when I got it and thought it was pointless and never touched it again.
  13. 4K content is not widely available. By the time 4K content is the norm your TV will be dead. If you don't have a 1080p TV at the moment there's still plenty of life left in 1080p stuff to by a 1080p tv now. Best TV? Depends what you want in a TV.
  14. f**king hell man, have you heard of commas?
  15. Added some support braces to my seat frame. Had some cardboard tubes that were the perfect size for a test fit. I can feel the vertical wobble is gone already. Will get some steel tubes cut soon, that should get rid of the horizontal wobble. Thinking about it you can easily create a frame with these kee clamps and tubes that's commonly used for handrails. If I had thought of these earlier I would have made one myself.
  16. Accepted! Well if I see you online I'll message you and we can go join some races :D
  17. pCar players lets organise some raceeeees. Add me on steam: weirdoku
  18. 360 seems pretty low. I think generally people have it at 550, I personally have mine set to 500 degrees. There's loads moooore! Dirt Rally, the older Colin Mcrae Dirt games, the WRC series as well, or the much older Richard Burns Rally. There's the Need For Speed series too. Then there's Trackmania, rFactor 2, Raceroom Experience, F1 games, iRacing and Assetto Corsa from the top of my head.
  19. Got my seat today. Photo from earlier when it was roughly set up earlier. Not bad for just over £110. But one of the two bars leading up to the center plate is bent at a different angle to the other one so I can't set it up correctly. The left side isn't actually screwed in properly as the holes don't align. But with all the other bolts tightened up it's sturdy enough to play. I've messaged the shop for replacements, hopefully they send me right ones otherwise I'll have to drill out some now holes. The shifter plate/mount is absolute wank. There are correct mount holes for the G27 shifter but the angle of the plate sides doesn't allow for the shifter to be mounted flat to the plate, you can't screw it down at all. It's also a bit up front and high up for my liking. I'm going to make a little frame that sits down the side of me on the floor where it actually should be like in a real car. The rest is alright. Can't complain too much for the price. Need to set it up for my position still. Early use was fun, much comfier than office desk and chair.
  20. I could wait I guess, the 2016 version on their website looks much sleeker than the DK2. Dirt Rally would be extra sick with the headset on, especially the Finland stages and I'm looking forward to driving the Nurburgring in pCars with the headset too.
  21. Get a Oculous DK2 now or wait for their Q1 2016 version? Always wanted one since the first Rift, racing in pCars/Dirt Rally would be immense. And all the pr0n.
  22. Oh sorry I always forget HDMI carries audio too lol. Plug that into you TV via HDMi and you're sorted. It's as easy as plugging in a SD card, running a program on a desktop/laptop to put OSMC on the SD card, plug that into the pi and everything else. Start it up and that's it. Will take you what? 20mins? I think if you're spending £500 on a steering wheel you really ought to setup some sort of cockpit for it. Mounting it on a desk and sitting in an office chair for an evening is not comfortable at all, for a few quick races you're fine though.
  23. Yeah. Use something like OSMC for the OS, attach a external hard drive (own power maybe), mouse, keyboard and speakers and you're good to go.
