Noooo.. just moving from the registrar our name servers were *meant* to be registered with to another registrar, so we can do it properly this time (they were 'bodged' with the old registrar and they wouldnt sort it out properly for us). As you can imagine if TF still pointed to the same DNS servers while the domain for that DNS server is moving between registrars, there'd be down time for everyone. So i'm doing it in a couple of steps. (So yeah, before you say it what I said before was slightly misleading, but got the main point across ) (and that was even less well explained than my last post )

Its because to get to trials-forum, first your computer goes off and asks you ISPs servers how to get to it. Your computer then uses the data it gets back from your ISPs servers (think of it like a map) to go off and find the server with trials-forum on it. However, If I change where TF is, then I need to update the map. Cos there are squillions of ISPs servers all with a (now outdated) map on how to get to TF, it can take up to 48 hours before the updated map gets to them. Some servers will get the new map before others.. meaning some people can get to it, and some cant.

Dont think we'd do that on TrialsForum as its for trials... but we could make a similar site that shares the same user database (so no need to sign up twice) for other aspects of mountain biking, and put a link to it from somewhere on here. Doubt it'd get used much but it could be worth a try. It'd clean up a load of the BMX threads that are cropping up lately, and give people a place to post stuff if theyre into downhill, XC etc.. Um, there probably is... but a) would be way too difficult it'd stop new members from ever mentioning the word 'sale' in any of their posts.. but too complex im afraid. Feel free to use the report button and leave a message 'Validate?' or something. I guess we could do with replicating the report function for suggesting validations.. but it'd be exactly the same as the report feature with a few words changed. Sounds like on your Mac you need to view a topic, click topic options at the top right and change the view to 'standard'

Theres a dark skin in the works. Just needs a few tweeks, but a few tweeks could take a few hours.. which I dont have spare at the moment sorry. Sure, we're always open to suggestions. I don't really know where to start.. Warns were made anonymous as some members felt like they were being picked upon by certain mods. You can consider the 'unknown identity' to be me, if you like, I will stand by the moderators decision. I've just had a look at your 2 warnings, and they're both totally legitimate and self explanatory. I would copy and paste them into here but i'll save you the embarrasement. You will not find a quote of me or danny saying you will never be validated, but for the record you have been banned in the past and indeed, will never be validated (you can quote me now). This forum has never changed hands in the 4 or 5 years its been going and we are on a dedicated server - so you'll be hard pushed to find 'better hosting'. Currently with 120 users online the server load is 0.16. When the server load is 1 or above it will start slowing down, but thats a long way off, and even then it can get to around 5 before you will even notice any slow down. As for point 4.. Now petes reply is out the way, If anyone has any actual suggestions on how to improve the forum, go for it. We're always looking for ways to make it better

Tip #3000. Pointing out other members mistakes, or pointless posts does not make you look better than them - don't do it. If you think a thread is pointless and should be closed, use the report button or tell a mod. Publically ridiculing (or attempting to) the thread starter won't do you any favours.

And pretty much all the time. My driving instructor said once every 5 seconds or so, which seems about right to me. Very true.. with I'd listened when people told me this. Best thing to do is practice. Theres no way you can concerntrate on checking your mirrors and stuff when your stuck in the middle of a road cos you tried to pull away from a junction in 4th. Once all that stuff becomes automatic you'll have time to check your mirrors constantly, until then you'll have to rely on your driving instructor to do it for you, but thats what theyre there for.

Nero will make VCDs and do all the converting for you (and do menu's as well if you want). Open up 'Nero Burning Rom' (from the Data group if you have 7.0) - you'll see this screen. Make sure CD is selected in the drop down menu at the top left. [attachmentid=4005] It'll convert the videos to the right format as you drag them across.

I get vivid dreams when i've woken up in the morning.. then gone to back to sleep. I think theyre related to the past.. not future. Eg the one this morning.. I was snowboarding, at the bottom of the mountain waiting for my mate to come down. He appeared out of the corner, absolutly flying down it (hes not great at snowboarding) and jumped off a jump into a pool of freezing water (I was thinking shit he cant swim with a snowboard attached to his feet but he was fine). Anyway, we'd been talking about snowboarding the night before, and 2 nights before I saw a stella advert where they lose a crate of stella in a load of icy water.. and someone jumps in after it. So yeah, mine are related to what i've done.. usually.
