  1. Back when brant didn't hate all trials riders. ^_^
  2. Yes, there have been a fair few.
  3. I don't mind the dark, my problem is the cold, I get pulled muscles etc even after warming up and stretching just cos if you stop for a minute or two you cool down.
  4. I'm on the road to recovery after trapping my sciatic nerve, an extrememly painful thing to have happen to you, my recomendation is to look uo chiropractors in your area that use the Mactimoney technique, it's gentle and relaxing and fixes you damn fast, but prices take the piss. (Y)
  5. You put one innertube in and it deforms to fit the whole tyre and rim. :- EDIT And with the new good echo rims coming out, theres no problem.
  6. I think I'll try my new heatsink blues on it, see if there better.
  7. So these wonderful new mod hubs are no good for any mods, bar echo's n zoos?
  8. I'd avoid ther dmr, I remember someone on here saying it was awful, and that the freewheel is sealed like a shimano so you have to for out for a full new one each time you broke it. The hopes are always a good option, an xc or mono is your best bet. The new echo's look good, but are unproven (I know CLS loves his and all, but the real sceptics won't trust his testimony). Also there's the second hand king option, which is what I'd recomend, you can normally pick up a king for £170 or so on E-bay. The thing with rear hubs, is that you get what you pay for, so pay more if you can.
  9. It's a hombre, into a lower dual cable that came on my fuzz, into an oryg giro and into snafu cables up top. It feels great, works ace in the dry, but when it rains, it's awful and yeah it is a chrome rim.
  10. I think it's partially about mind set too, I do some pretty brutal training for a martial art I do, the warm up and fitness bit is just silly, but if I go in really angry and up for it, I definitely find it easier than if I go in complacent.
  11. My CRV's on my bmx are bloody awful in the wet too, not that great in the dry either, wonder what's best.
  12. That they are, same material, grind well by all accounts.
  13. Was thinking that and came on to post it, but you beat me to it, seems most likely as deng isn't a dumbass and you can always space 106 out.
  14. I6t depemnds what you want, if you want the usual escapism tripe, read Dan Brown, Stephen King etc however if you want an interesting and rewarding read, read something like the lord of the rings, catch 22, 1984, animal farm, all the classics.
  15. I'd actually be scared to ride some of that. (Y)
  16. Also the ronnie has a larger braking surface. (Y)
  17. Only the internal part of the axle is 15mm, like the G-sport 20mm axle. (Y) But the spacing seems a bit stupid. :D (I'm waiting for Adam to come along and show us why it's good.
  18. It's no myth, but send the hub to Tart he'll take it apart, whip all the pish out and loob it up. Top job. (Y)
  19. I work in gear of Glasgow, on a very unnofficial basis. (Y)
  20. If ou try and melt rubber again, because it's thermosetting it will turn into a horrible nasty gunk. ;)
  21. Bmx stems have a 22.2mm bar clamp, too small for regular bars, you need atomlabd, or something else. :-
  22. I never knew there were so many. :ermm: I thought once you got your little pink writing the bike got retired. B)
  23. Bloody hell, a senior who actually still rides a bike. :ermm: B)
  24. It probably won't bit as sharply, (I'd say that's a good thing) but I'm pretty sure the holds the same. The man to ask would be tart, I know he ran a 521 ceramic and then a grind, whereas I have only had short goes on peoples bikes with grinds. (Y)
