  2. Go to your local bearing supplier, they will be able to get you one for a few quid which will fit. (Y)
  3. I found a way of doing it innacurately, I took a google map and printed it, drew the route and measured it, this led me to believe that I had a circuit of 1.558 miles, or 2557 metres. I do that in 20 minutes, so in hindsight, I'm a fat slow knacker. (Y)

    Map Help

    Evening people, I've taken up jogging recently because I feel the need to get fitter, I've been doing the same route for a while and now I've timed it, but I don't know how long it is, I was wondering if anyone knew a place online I could check, I've tried google maps, but I can't find a way of checking the distance.
  5. Would it be possible to have some heatsink adapters made with horizontal slots instead of vertical ones, might help in a project of mine.

  9. It's easier to fully anodise something that to not anodise the sidewalls and anodise the rest, I think.

  11. Go to your LBS, they'll have some sort of facing tool, take it in with the brake off the bike and ask if they can face it quickly if you set up the facer, they might do it free, they might charge you a 5er. (Y)
  12. Take the pads out, see if theres anything on them, check if your brake mounts need faced, realign disc. The usual tricks.

  15. Put your hands to touch right behind your ears, elbows pointing straight out, it's harder to do them that way. Last time i did a minute test I got about 30 something out and situp wise I did 60 on wednesday night. :(

  19. What I find works best is to take the pads off, lay some sandpaper flat on a flat surface and to drag the pads in light circle until the glaze is gone. Once that's done put muc off on your rim and ride around dragging the brake until it starts to bite and squeal, wipe off crap on rim with a clean rag/tissue and away ye go. :angry:
