  1. no worries it's cool, I am even more confused now. Edit: My BMX has a +50bb
  2. ooooooooo, the plot thickens......
  3. Problem with this plan is i ride with my brakes arse backwards so never really get a proper test of another bike.
  4. a comp where you have to ride between sections would be cool
  5. Only problem with them is they were and still are sheeiiiite (mission prodigy) Oh it was a troll head, I get it now, I thought it was Justin beiber

    Tyres

I have no suggestions but I would get some fold-able semislick/slicks so you can put em in yer bag on your ride.
  7. Indeed but is it really trials, I mean really? Bwahahahahahahahahahaha Also if you think about it the geo of these frames (inspireds) are going back in time when dudes were capable of busting out the big shit. The geo's were good then and are good now. I mean what advantage does a massively high bb really give you? I'm not sure the weird feeling of being perched atop a 4 bar gate stretched out taking a shit is negated by a few inches more sidehop and maybe easier hooks. oh yeah......
  8. Lolz, Indeed that is sorta the angle I am coming from. My current ride is a planet x with 24 wheels short stem, blah blah blah, so I could get the echo for being a spandex faggot pants on and just keep the planet x, but strangely I find it really good on natty so that maybe negates the point of bothering. However I had a go on one the other day and it felt perfect for TGS street nonsense and I could probs get another inch outa my side hops on it, I imagine it would be good for natty also. If I hadn't have done that I would be just looking at the Skye. I have been looking at the skye for a while mostly because it looks f**king awesome, has brought out the consumer in me and I could easily swap my shit out from my Zebdi. seeing as the geo is not a million miles away from my Zebdi I assume it would probably suffice for natty days but not be so good maybe. @ the dude that says its just a 'I have a grand thread bollox' basically yeas I have a grand and due to circumstances involving alot of death in one week I thought I might mend my soul with some consumer therapy. Can someone please suggest a word I can use instead of 'alot' also.
  9. This was Daves idea by the way.
  10. ah but mods are for queers............
  11. Fark me! Watched it again, only 'proper trials vid' that has ever made me think I wanna get that good, ever.
  12. I really like this bike, had a go on one the other day it was ossum.
  13. Wall ride that bitch! This is exactly what I was saying in my post, confusion due to the wording. 135mm is the distance between the bottom face of the bottom bearing race and the top face of the top bearing race. Indeed that kind of taller headset would not solve this problem. However, if you made a top headset cup which was taller than the standard, say, echo top cup which moved the top face of the top bearing up by the needed amount then I believe that would solve the probrem. Eg: Echo headset, ZHI frame. bottom cup stack height= 12mm headset length= 100mm top cup stack height= 11mm total: 123mm 135-123=12mm So you need to make a top cup that places the bearing 12mm above its standard position so the top cup stack height needs to be 23mm Note: it must be the top cup if you want the geo of your bike to remain the same. Sorry to spell it out so simply but I thought it best to, I am not being patronising. Here is a picture of a horse:
  14. You would have thought so but no. the dude up there is correct, it makes the the brake much stronger at the cost of putting more forces on the fork and snapping them quicker, this is my opinion feel free to shoot it down. edit; and the forces are mostly torsional, not tensile or compressive
  15. Nah mark, I don't think I explained it very well. probably way too much effort but say for instance someone wants to build a bike using the bike builder, not with the current system but with my imaginary system: They open the bike builder. They go to the sections as normal, as in before the bike builder existed. They click on the 'lightest first' option from the filter menu. They click on the first product (obv the lightest although sometimes that isn't quite correct) The product description comes up. In the options marker section they tick the colour or whatever they want. Then there are 2 buttons: Add to basket Add to bike I'm pretty sure I need not explain these buttons. When they press add to bike, if it is not compatible a message comes up warning that this is the case. If the item is compatible the it adds it to the bike. Although that sorta f**ks up the way the bike builder reminds you not to forget anything I spose. Anyway I get the feeling i am talking shite
  16. why even say that? I like it dude good effort.
  17. Well if I designed a fork for trials I would hope that I had enough confidence to offer some kind of warranty for trials use or I wouldn't probably sell it, but then again I don't manufacture bike stuff so its not my field to make judgement really. @ Greetings; they are very impresive looking though ah, and the weight is incredible.
  18. Yeah, trials forum is an epic in the making. You happy with yer forks dude? I think they are mint, however if I had some I would make a bigger front axle that sticks further into the, very wide drop, outs to avoid problems there.
