  1. Swamp thing supertacky is good Schwalbe Fat albert is good as long as its dry
  2. shimano Deore or XT. Vee's do have more 'power' than magura, this is a fact not opinion. The only downsides are Vee's are not as snappy or solid feeling, but you soon get use to that. The only reason trials riders switched to maggy's is because there was better choice of pads AT THE TIME. Why do pro riders use Magura still then? Maybe because they are now used to them? Maybe because they get free ones? I don't know who cares?

I have also thought this. Soya products destroy forests. Cows are not stupid. what the other dudes said.
  4. It's hard to put yer finger on really with the Edinburgh/Glasgow thing, it's easy with Swansea though, smack heads and Roiders.
  5. Yes Swansea is very grim, it's probably worse than how you remember it also. I moved out 6 years ago and it has gone right downhill badly since then even. I also agree with your Glasgow/Edinburgh thing. I haven't been riding in either but have been to both quite a lot. Glasgow was much cooler by miles, the people too.
  6. What this guy says. Zhi frames are designed for shorter cranks and 16t sprocket. what you can do (what I have done in the past) is file the dropouts forwards and not use the cams, this allows you to use 15t sprocket. I did this with both hope pro 2 and ffw set up.
  7. Ah but we know where to go........ anyway, megabump???
  8. Right the linked topic: From memory so im not 100% sure 1.remove the crown[two screws either side and a retainer ring on top] 2.remove the preload/rebound adjusters[little grub screw on the side] 3.remove the little circlips on top of the caps[dont lose these] 4.grip the slider in one hand and undo the top cap on the non rebound side with a 26mm spanner 5.pull out the spring + put it on an old cloth 6.turn the fork upside down and drain the oil into a suitable jug 7.repeat steps 4,5+6 on the other leg[while its upside down ,pump the rebound rod in and out to clear all of the oil from the rebound cartridge] 8.dont undo the nuts underneath the fork tubes .If you only want to replace the oil ,leave them in place. 9.replace the oil[sorry this is the bit im unsure of i cant remember the exact grade they recommend] 10.pour in the oil into each leg[slowly]till the level is about 40mm from the top of the stanchion[extend the stanchion fully] 11.pump the rebound rod up and down so that it fills with oil and theres no air left 12.top up to the 40mm from the top level [after pumping the rebound you will need a little more oil in that leg than the non rebound leg] 13.reassemble and dont forget those circlips Right well I did this and you don't need to remove the little adjusters on the top, just to let people know.

Take into consideration smoking. At one time over 60% of the adult population smoked yet 'smoking related cancer' is now higher WTF???? I also wouldn't underestimate the television either seems that figures like 1 in 3 people will get cancer of some form, what the hell is that about, increase in cancer seem to go hand in hand with technological advancements. Some examples in my mind: Automobile Television Mobile phones WIFI None of these technologies could really have been long term tested for harmful effects before they were rolled out. I do believe that nutrition has an effect on cancer but rather a positive one: Really do bother watching that^^
  10. Dude,if he didn't pay for postage don't post it. Tell him he can pick it up from you or you can give him a refund. This guy is scamming you. And even if he isn't all you gotta do is re-list it to sell it again if the money is needed.

  12. Exacery. I have had a go on both and the Kabra felt way nicer than the echo but it's just too much money. Good point about the Kabra in terms of street is the reinforcement on the dropouts, also the dude had the balls to make a 24 when others were not. However price, tensioning,bb and the fact you can put a carbon protector on the down tube makes the echo the winner for me.
  13. Very strange, the 24" echo frame has been discontinued in 135mm spacing WTF??? Link
  14. Now that is scary. Also the music/artist argument is very important to this thread, the whole industry is overpaid and is one of the best examples of a 'fabricated market'. It's ALL about the money. Censorship is very bad for the internet, its the best information sharing thing in the world. By using this masked attempt to gain control of what information is out there for people to use and gain, including important information about what 'They' are up to free information could potentially become, again' a thing of the past.
  15. I was also referring to mainstream dogshite. Yes I f**king well do, I have loads of friends that are involved in the music scene/industry some of them EXTREMELY successful. Some, like you said are rather poor, and have to work full time jobs as well. Well Mr Smarty pants there are people out there doing other stuff which is creative, starting businesses, developing ideas and inventions, trying to stop ridiculous projects like this that may ACTUALLY HAVE SOME EFFECT on the future. Are you giving them any money? Besides my mates that are struggling are mostly shite and they have realised that they are never gonna make any money out of it for the reasons touched on below: THIS THIS In essence, why should I subsidise unproductive generally distanced from reality people from a specific realm of human society.
  16. there's some c**ts and there are some excellent dudes on here, I pretty much have a list in my head of who I will buy off so I just stick with that really.
  17. I think it bodes very unwell for us all Oh yeah, and f**k the 'musicians/artists' overpaid wankers the lot of em anyway
