  1. I genuinely feel safe walking around Birmingham, and I'd never want to move. It's got everything.

    Realy?

The SouthWest is where its at. Anything from Shropshire down is good stuff.

    the southwest does have everything

    Beaches to surf

Cities to shop, ride and party

    Hills to ride and walk

    'Proper' country pubs

Sure, like anywhere there are some pretty crap places; areas of Bristol, Bridgwater etc

But you are never more than half an hour to an hour from beautiful rolling hills and some stunning coastline

  2. Whatever you do, dont get those 55s.

They are weighty, not great looking imo and not as reliable as the new Rockshox stuff

Like Shrewsbury said, save some cash and get some better forks with the Pikes, iv got a set on my Marin WolfRidge 6.9.

They are absoloubtly spot on, good weight, great adjustment and look the business.

In an ideal world, yes, we would all have Fox Forx, but unfortunatly the are much expensivo!

  3. iv got a bb7 on the front of my bike with a 203mm rotor and its insane!

holds like no other front brake iv ever ridden.

Craig James on also has one with i think a 185 rotor and thats been alrite too

Personally, for trials i far prefer cable discs to hydraulic. Just dont find them as bitey.

  4. Not got any trials ones but, i came off my motocross bike at a mates place i was taken to hospital and after waiting 7 and a half hours to be seen!! I was told i had torn the major ligaments in my knee. It had swollen to enormous size and i needed it drained, so the doctor stuck a massive needle under my kneecap  and drained it. I have to admit it now im shit scared of needles so i was not in a good state afterwards im led on the bed in hospital trousers round my ankles in just my boxxer shorts covered in blood and iodene white as sheet sweatin through sheer panic and delayed shock and not one but two fit student nurses came in to clean me up and strap up my knee! at that point i wanted to die through sheer embaressment!

similar story. while dirt jumping around 2years ago attempted a no-foot can and on landing i slipped my left pedal.

My knee hit the pedal and one of the pins from them punctured my knee cap!

They had to put a needle down through the hole in the cap to drain it.....

  5. Right, have had the bike about 3weeks now. LOVE IT!

Really missed 'propper' mountain biking and this popped up at the LBS at an amazing price so iv taken the beauty out on finance.

  6. Does anyone else find it strange that he spins anti-clockwise when doing 180's but clockwise when he does 360's? It would be nice to be able to comfortable spinning either way, but it seemed like it was random, more dependant on how much he was spinning.

Looks as though, when he 180's he adds in a pedal kick. Which may dictate his direction of spin, i know that i spin different directions when i spin with and without kicks.

  7. Im being a f**ktard.

I need to set up a page of publisher so that it is a piece of A4 paper, landscape and folded in half.

Just like a small leaflet type thing

But due to the now 6 and a half hour assignment session and relentless twiches im not functioning properly

    please help..........

  8. Im not sure on the price, but there is an alternative to the new Hammerschmidt crankset.

Im pretty sure NC17 and someone else have done them too, think the gear change is somehow operated by a button at the centre of the drive side.

Think you change by pressing it with your ankle, which may be an issue, especialy with all the new fasionably spinny moves of street trials

    Just a thought.....
