  1. BOLLOX is f**king old now. was started 3years ago.

Despite the shitting rain, despite the nazi f**king security and despite the fact i didnt sleep ALL weekend

It was worth it all for high contrast and scratch perverts!

    The drugs were good

    The laughs were good

And ashton let me have a little play on the new 24" (which, by the way was really nice)

  2. I am heading up early tomoro morning.

currently have free spaces in the car so anyone is welcome to a lift in return for sum petrol monnies.

Throw me a buzz if ur after a lift from somerset area : 07961749886

  3. In theory, yes it is possible.

But dont do it, its OK to use in rear maggies as with so much pad material and the rim being so exposed there is never enough heat built up to cause changes of temperature to the liquid used in the hose.

However, put water in a disc hose, and you will boil it in seconds, just rolling down a steep hill scrubbing the brake and you'l bugger it. This is because the rotor is a small braking diameter so the same point will pass through the caliper before being able to loose any heat built up. Plus, with the material being so closely mounted to the metal backing, heat very easily and quickly is transfered to the pistons and thus the fluid.

  4. Im in the new MBUK!

Not riding, im in the 'stuff' pages wearing clothes sitting on a deck chair! (far left of the double page spread)

    :D

    I hate Doddy.

I hate this new Rick guy too.

mmmm, you say that, doddy can come across as a bit arrogant and quite a cock, but spend sum time around his and once a couple of beers are sunk hes an alrite bloke.

and Rick is a quality fella, propper funny chap, doesnt REALY know how to work for a mag too well, but hes a good fella

And jamer is a seriousley good bloke

  5. Walker on here is sponsered by Rockman and rides the Slate. I had a bash on his at the trial of wessex and it rode pretty nice.

BUT!!! The slates target is advanced riders ONLY, and not suited to street bashing. It is an extremely lightweight frame which will not take kindly to beginer riders missing taps and gaps.

It is a comp frame suited to comp riding

think seriously before spaffing £440 on a frame which if not ridden smoothly may crack and fail.....

  6. My reason was circumstantial,

I used to live on the Quontock hills and rode and raced downhill, we then moved from the hills into town and without being able to drive at the time had no way of lugging my 40lbs DH bike to the trails.

So started dirt jump and street as the local scene is quite good, got really into dirt and then the british summers became too unpredictable and there were never enough sunny days in a row for the dirt to dry and get out and ride much.

Then a chap ben moore started working at Halfords with me and got interested in trials through him, a well specced second hand bike came available and hey presto! im hooked on trials

And whats kept me riding more than anything? The people in trials, this has by far got to be the best community of riders iv ever been involved in. Especially down here in the south-west

  7. 2002 vaxhaul astra 1.6 sxi

its depressingly slow, not the best on fuel, and iv pretty much blown up the speeker system.

but, with the rear seats down i can get my bike in without taking out any wheels, and can comfortably get 3 bikes and 3 people in. at a squeeze iv had four bikes four people.

its a first car, so sure its not great, but i love it

    next up...vw transporter

  8. Gary at Curtis bike is one of the soundest guys to chat to.

Give him a call, explain your needs and he'l tweak the geo towards whatever you want.

Yes, custom Curtis bikes are expensive, but they are f'en gorgeous, British hand made and you can have your initials stamped into the drop-outs....PIMP

  9. smooth flowy hip hop. such as sweatshop union or Jurassic 5

or a continuous DJ set as found on the fabric live albums. nothing too aggressive though

i find if you listen to more flowy rythm music it helps you link your moves more, and carry a line.

in essence, iv found death metal makes you ride more aggressivly, and is better suited to TGS

more relaxed and flowy music makes you more creative and is better for flowy lines.

also real chill stuff like jack johnson and DJ Fdel (some of it) are great for a chilled ride

  10. A F#*KING DISASTER!

My first, second and third time were all pretty damn shit!

but since then iv had a long term mrs.

9months of freedom in which i jizzed on a girls face in a scummy alley, and shagged a chubby bird

And im now in the best relationship believable with an old school crush, 10 months going strong :D

oh and im now a sexual GOD (Y)

  11. do NOOOT stretch the spirngs.

the way kings work they are best in a well oiled lubricated environment so keep it that way.

so what if its not realy loud, does it still work well?

the longer term cost of not keeping it lubricated or stretching the springs meen things will wear out faster and C/King spares are SILLY expensive!

  12. i see no-one has asked what size bike he's riding

mods generally run lower rear wheel pressures as their tyres are so much wider than stocks. anywhere between 10-20psi is normal for a mods rear.

stocks riders will rarely drop below 20psi, i run mine at around 27psi rear and 25psi front

but as someone said before, set them at around 35-40ish and slowly let the pressure out till it feels right
