was waiting on a wide base rear sprocket from tarty so whilst wainting took a 17tooth out of a sram cassette.
After couple days of riding, went to just drop off a wall on my way into town, rear sproket snapped (same effect as chain snap) and went head first towards the ground. Just managed to get my hands in the way of my face and got away with bruised thumb muscles (which is a right pain in the ares!)
About 3 years ago, was riding Combe Sydenham DH track in the wet and over-shot the road gap that leads into a meadow section.
landed and didnt have time to react for the berm that followed, went straight over it and ditched the bike mid-flight.
Hit the wet grass on my back and proceded to skim down the hill about 100meters, like i was on a water slide. Was the most fun bail i have EVER had.

I have 2 assignments due in tomorrow at 9!
i have 6cans of relentless, 4 bags of sweets and two big bags of crisps around me.
im in this for the long haul!
will update later when finished...im thinking around 4-5am!

mine were 3rd hand when they got to me too.
they did eventually die but i was impressed, im now running a set of VIZ! forks and they are awesome

looks well good fun, i was just thinking the other day about a tryin it out mixing the 2 im sure it'll aid both disciplines
yeh man your right, i used to race downhill afew years ago but had to give up after moving away from the hills. Iv ridden trails for 18months now but afew weeks ago was lent a marin attack trail (aggressive XC/trail bike) and LOVED it.
I was really impressed with how quick i still was and how much of the skills from trials i was able to transfer.
Only problem now is im really missing actual mountainbiking, just getting up on the hills and having a thrash!

Right I realy need to clear this issue up after a near miss with the Po Po after I was pulled over on the motorway because one of the surfboards on my roof was starting to try and fly.
Having heard it may be illegal I pushed my feet as far into the footwell as possibe and got my mate to get out and sort the board.
Iv always heard different things from different people about the legality of dirving with no shoes on, and realy need to know for two reasons:
1- I do it all the time, and therefore a little sketchy.
2- If it is againts the law, its pointless! - Its safer to drive barefoot than in wet shoes

hey guys,
looks like due to work im only gona be able to hit taunton on the 27th and plymouth the day after.
if anyone needs iv got plenty floorspace for the night after the taunton ride and two free spaces in the car for lifts down to plym on the 28th.
i can only give lifts DOWN to plym as will be driving home again after the ride
