  1. That would be COLOUR then. That would be SPARKLES. That would be LOOKS and HOW and NOW. Honestly guys sort your spelling out. These are pretty basic words.
  2. Great video. The guy is amazing. There was a big article about him a few months back in the trials section of MBUK. Mucho respect.

  5. I can imagine how that went. "Hey mate i just drilled my bars" crunch "Dude you want your teeth back?"
  6. Mate i really wouldn't worry about sponsrship right now. It says on your profile that you are a trials newby. You will have a fair way to go before a company will sponsor you. If the only reason you ride trials is for sponsorship then you will be disapointed. Only a very select few get that good and stay that good. This may seem like i am just trying to dis-hearten you into not trying. I AM NOT. Just enjoy riding and let your trials path take it's course. But who knows? you may be a phenomenal rider in six months and get recognised, or you may not. It is really down to practice practice practice, and i mean like a lot of practice. Joe Satriani who is claimed to be the worlds greatest guitarist used to practice 13 hours a day!! In the mean time you could always bike a Tarty bikes t-shirt and prentend.
  7. Your forks will end up being bendyer than a bench with a fat guy on it.
  8. Just got myself a set of Cane Creek Direct Curve 3 v brakes. they have a pretty nice action. although are a little pricey. I have run them with a set of avid brake levers.
  9. you will be peddaling pretty fast with that combo. I run a 22 up front and an 18 down the back and that seems ok
  10. Good stuff man. keep going. Nice to see someone wearing a helmet.
  11. i recently bought a sixsixone skid lid. it is really nice. £24.95 from bike outlet in clifton moor York.
  12. it will look mint with chips and dings in it. after about hhmmmm 4 minutes.
  13. If you live anywhere near Harrogate there is a factory called Taplanes in Nidd. It is just off the Ripley roundabout. They have hundreds af pallets and i am sure they would let you have some. I used to work there, that is how i know about their pallets.
  14. Hey guys and girls. I have just bought myself a set of alex rims. I got a dx32 for the rear and a dm24 for the front. Do any of you lot use Alex rims and if so what do you think of them? What is your choice of wheel? Cheers.

  16. My WIFE loves me doing trials, for a few reasons. 1: It gets me out fo the house and out from under her feet 2: it keeps me fit and is something I enjoy, so she supports me in it. 3: It gets me out fo the house and out from under her feet ooohhh did i mention that already. If i hurt myself then i get a little sympathy but then get told "don't do it again and be careful" or " That was silly" Don't rely on your giflfriend to buy you your kit man. Buy your own gear. Also GET A HELMET!!!!!!
  17. hey nice video. although i will say. get a helmet!!
  18. Quality video mate. really nice
  19. NIce bike man. i think white frames look sweet as!
  20. i am fairly new to trials so don't really know any tricks yet. But i definately want to learn 360 dismounts, they look amazing
  21. Nice video man. the wall at the begining is huge!! nice stuff
  22. i have been learning this technique for about 5 weeks now. I started by just trying to get the balance right. You could rock onto your front wheel and then onto the back. the higher you have your front wheel the more upright you will need to stand on the pedals. try and keep your cranks as flat as possible. the reason that you fall over to the side is probably because you are trying too hard and coming up to fast. You could always find a crate or a wall to rest your front wheel on and then practice rocking back onto the back wheel and hopping a couple of times and then rest the front wheel down again. Ryan Leech has some great videos on you tube about all trials skills. Above all though just keep trying and trying but when you get frustrated take a break. I couldn't do any hops for a while and now i can do 17. You have made a great start, so be encouraged that you can do any at all, you will get better Forgot to mention to that it always helps to try hops on a very slight incline
  23. loving the discusions this has opened up. I used to have some caged pedals but they bent relly fast. I love the DMR v8's although with terror pins in them my legs are getting ripped up.
  24. They look nice mate. Echo are a great brand as well.
  25. Tartybikes are a great place to get a look at wheels. i run an Alex Supra E on the rear. It's an ok wheel for me to begin with. I would buy the best that you can afford. I think there is also something to be said for a bike that makes you go "hhhmmmm yeah" every time you get it out of the shed.
