Well,when you gap properly ,you need to gain speed quickly,and for me it´s pretty much impossible to do that with 18:15 ratio,and I´m quite strong and also heavy rider...

I did know what pads you were speaking about,I just cannot believe that you haven´t found one review in this 40pages long topic(I know there´s plenty of reviews of them)...But,I use them(tr brake,2bolt booster ,Sl rim),and they are good,not amazing,but my bro has them too(4finger hs-33,4bolt booster,urban rim) and his brake feels like from different world,superb bite and stupidly good hold too...

I found it pretty decent for rolling gaps and even taps,but I´m not doing them at very high(relative) speed,but I agree that this could be a minus.

Not sure if I understand your question,but longer leverage of the crank makes it feel lighter.Isn´t that obvious?

Because the bike with 15t sprocket and 170mm cranks feels lazy somehow to me,with 16t it´s more agile especially fro gaps and ups with short runup.

I can recommend you alligator super fortress cable kit,very high quality,it feels very stiff and like there´s no friction at all,and they aren´t that expensive at all.
